Object list

This data object represents the central administration of assets (movable and immovable assets) in facility management. It records key information such as manufacturer data, warranty periods, locations and assignments to departments. The object list serves as the basis for inventory, maintenance planning and life cycle management of the assets and is used in various FM processes such as maintenance, procurement and disposal.

Object Type & Matchcode

The matchcode and object type assigned to the object are specified in this area.

Match Code	Select a previously created match code.

Object location

This PropertySet contains properties for the geographical location and spatial assignment of an asset. It includes information such as the address, coordinates and regional affiliation of the property.

Building	Specifies the building of the object.

Identification

In this section, data for the identification of the object can be entered. This information will be used to identify it across the entire FM-Portal.

Property	Description
Belongs to system/component	Selection of the object that is superordinate to the current object. This classifies the object hierarchically in the system explorer. The hierarchy code of the installation, supplemented by the component number of this object, is used for the code in the "Hierarchy of installation" field.
Serial No. 2	If required enter an additional serial number.
Identification 01	Unique identifier for identifying the asset in the system. This number enables the asset to be clearly assigned and managed in all relevant business processes and documentation. Correct recording is crucial for traceability and data exchange.
Type Designation of Manufacturer	Enter the manufacturer's full type designation for the object.
Code	The object code of the selected match code is automatically entered here. If necessary, you can replace it with an abbreviation for the unspecified object. The code entered here should correspond to a code system used in-house, as the object will be inserted by the object code in Object Explorer. If the object code is changed in the match code, the manually entered value will be overwritten.
Bar Code	Enter the barcode for the unspecified object. This is only necessary if the FM "Inventory" module is also installed to manage the object. You can find the barcode on the barcode label on the object.
Name	Enter a full name for the unspecified object. If you have already selected a match code in the "Match Code Data" section, this field will automatically be filled in with the data in the match code.
Quantity	Enter the number of individual objects available from the unspecified object.
Serial No. 1	Enter the serial number of the object. Serial numbers are usually located either directly on the object (e.g., stamped on it, or on a sticker) or on its packaging.

Current Location

This section shows the current location of the present object.

Room	Select the room in which the unspecified object is currently located.
Work Station	Select the work station on which the object is currently located.

You can enter further information on the object, e.g., its manufacturer and user in this section.

Current condition	Current condition
End of Warranty	Select the date on which the warranty will expire.
Relevant for fire protection	Indication of whether this object is relevant for fire protection. This information means that these objects can be separated in the maintenance plans of eTASK.maintenance.
Department	Selection of the department that owns the object.
Cost Center	Select the cost center which is to be used to settle costs for the unspecified object.
Relevant for cleaning	Specify here whether this object is relevant for your cleaning. This information will be taken into account in future cleaning planning in eTASK.
Remark	Enter an additional comment concerning the unspecified object.
Company	Select the company granting the warranty.
Availability	Select the object's danger group.
Status	Selection of the status of the object.
User	Select the employee available to use the unspecified object.

Mapping model

The mapping model comprises features for the spatial recording and representation of objects. It contains information on the geometry, location and cartographic representation of the assets.

This section contains commercial data about this unspecified object.

Date of Acquisition	Select the date on which the unspecified object was acquired

Supplier	Selection of the company that supplied the object.
Order date	Selection of the date on which the item was ordered.
ID in Financial Accounting Software	Select the Financial Accounting Software equipment list.
Total Service Life	Enter the unspecified object’s total service life in years.
Purchase Price [€]	Enter the purchase price for the unspecified object.
Residual value [€]	The residual value of an object is the current value on the key date of the data transfer from the IT system to object accounting. This value is stored statically in eTASK and is not updated automatically outside of interfaces.

Disposal

This characteristic group includes information on the disposal of objects, including the date, reason and type of disposal. It is used to document the end of the life cycle of assets.

Do not display 2D symbol

If this option is activated, no additional symbol is displayed for this object in the associated building model in the BIM Explorer (such a symbol can be the footprint of a door, for example). Example: A door is permanently locked and is not used as a door. The space in front of the door can be used to place a cupboard, for example. If no footprint (2D symbol) is to be displayed for this door, this option must be activated.

Copy object multiple times

Use the new "Copy object multiple times" function under Extras in the object menu to create multiple copies of the open object. When copying, you can influence the barcode of the copied objects The following data is copied together with the object: Contracts, photos, warranties, and dynamic features for which the "blank when copying" parameter has NOT been selected.
