You can use this form to categorize objects into catalog objects (matchcodes) that always occur in the same way. When carrying out the inventory with the eTASK.inventory app, you use these matchcodes to categorize the inventoried objects.
Identification
In this section, data for the identification of the match code can be entered. This information will be used to identify it across the entire FM-Portal.| Property | Description |
| Description (long) | You can use this field to enter a long description for the matchcode. |
| delivery times | Here you can enter how long the delivery time will be for items with this matchcode. This information is displayed in the article book within the inventory |
| Costs | Enter the cost of items with this matchcode here. This information is displayed in the item book within the inventory |
| Object Type | Select the object type to be assigned to the match code. The object type is used to further categorize match codes. |
| Match Code | Enter the match code. It should consist of the abbreviation for the object group, object type, and the actual object itself (e.g., "UOGEFP" for "Unspecified Object, General Equipment, Flowerpot"). If using the Inventory module, the match code entered here is also printed on the barcode label in the match code list. |
| Name | Enter a short description for the object identified by the match code. It should be as short as possible (e.g., "satellite dish Kathrein"). |
| Description | Enter a detailed description of the match code. This description will be automatically taken over by the FM Inventory module and used to identify the object in the match code list. |

| Sticker Position | Enter a description of the position of the match code barcode sticker. This will be used to establish the area on the object on which to apply the barcode sticker. |
| Standard match code for object type | Check the box to use this matchcode as the default for new objects created by data imports (e.g. CAFM Connect) |

Library icon
Intended for use with eTASK.CAD or eTASK.BIM, an element can be uploaded here that can be used as a placeholder for the matchcode in a CAD or BIM file. Ideally, the symbol contains an attribute that contains the matchcode so that this information can be used when publishing in CAD or BIM to directly provide the new object with the correct data. Search for objects via characteristics & assign matchcode
Assignment-relevant characteristics are used to find objects with these characteristics via the Extras menu and automatically assign them the appropriate matchcode (and thus, if necessary, another object type).CAD identification
