This data object represents the central administration of assets (movable and immovable assets) in facility management. It records key information such as manufacturer data, warranty periods, locations and assignments to departments. The object list serves as the basis for inventory, maintenance planning and life cycle management of the assets and is used in various FM processes such as maintenance, procurement and disposal.
Object Type & Matchcode

Object location

Identification

| Belongs to system/component | Selection of the object that is superordinate to the current object. This classifies the object hierarchically in the system explorer. The hierarchy code of the installation, supplemented by the component number of this object, is used for the code in the "Hierarchy of installation" field. |

| Identification 01 | Unique identifier for identifying the asset in the system. This number enables the asset to be clearly assigned and managed in all relevant business processes and documentation. Correct recording is crucial for traceability and data exchange. |
| Type Designation of Manufacturer | Enter the manufacturer's full type designation for the object. |
| Code | The object code of the selected match code is automatically entered here. If necessary, you can replace it with an abbreviation for the unspecified object. The code entered here should correspond to a code system used in-house, as the object will be inserted by the object code in Object Explorer. If the object code is changed in the match code, the manually entered value will be overwritten. |
| Bar Code | Enter the barcode for the unspecified object. This is only necessary if the FM "Inventory" module is also installed to manage the object. You can find the barcode on the barcode label on the object. |
| Name | Enter a full name for the unspecified object. If you have already selected a match code in the "Match Code Data" section, this field will automatically be filled in with the data in the match code. |
| Quantity | Enter the number of individual objects available from the unspecified object. |
| Serial No. 1 | Enter the serial number of the object. Serial numbers are usually located either directly on the object (e.g., stamped on it, or on a sticker) or on its packaging. |
