Navigation to this function
Create object types here to be able to define objects in more detail. The object type is used to group various individual objects under a collective name and is required in the "Matchcode" form to identify an object.
Identification
This group contains characteristics for the unique identification and classification of object types. It includes keys, designations and categorizations that are essential for the management and assignment of object types.| Property | Description |
| Designation singular | Enter the name of the object in the singular. |
| Hierarchy Code | The hierarchy code of the object type is calculated automatically from the code of the object type and the hierarchy code of the higher-level object type, which can be selected below. |
| Name | Enter the full name of the object type (e.g., "Objects General Equipment"). |
| Code | Enter a code for the object type (e.g., "OBGE" for "Objects General Equipment"). |
| Default system number | Enter a default for the asset number of the objects here. If you do not make a default, this remains empty; if you want to assign an asset number with the same prefix to all objects of this object type, enter the prefix here. The asset number on the object can be changed. |
| Display in property register? | Specifies whether the object type should be displayed in the object register. If this option is deactivated, the object type is hidden from the object register. |
system settings
This group includes features that define basic system settings and configurations for object types. They control the behavior and display of object types in the system.| Property | Description |
| detail table | In addition to the fields in the object, further information is available for this object type in a detail table. |
| Superordinate object type | Selection of the object type that is superordinate to the current object type. The selected object type is displayed in the object register at the level above the current object type. |
Details
This group contains specific detailed information about the object type. It contains extended properties that are relevant for a more precise characterization and management of the object type.| Property | Description |
| Description | Enter a description of the object type in question with detailed information that makes it easier to classify objects correctly into this object type. |
| Monitor operating status | Specifies whether the operating status of the objects of this object type should be monitored. If this checkbox is activated, the status of the objects is evaluated in the "Plant operating status" report. |
| Relocation? | If this function is activated, all objects that are assigned to this object type can be added to a move. |
| Grouping in service specifications? | Specifies whether objects of the current object type are to be grouped in an FM purchase order generated via a maintenance order If this checkbox is not activated, a separate purchase order item is generated for each object of the current object type. |
| Compulsory inventory? | If this function is activated, all objects assigned to this object type must either be scanned or removed from the room when a room is inventoried. They must therefore always be checked. |
Plant explorer
This info area organizes the setting options for the object type in relation to the asset explorer. The explorer is located in the menu under "Objects/Assets" with the title "TGA systems". Despite the name, this hierarchical display is not only suitable for TGA systems, but for all objects that are hierarchically related to each other. For example, the individual elements of a shelving system can be assigned to it in the same way as the components of a piece of hardware or the contents of a cabinet.| Property | Description |
| Drawing link | The drawing link to be used when clicking on the magnifying glass in the TGA Plant Explorer can be selected here. |
| Display as top node | Specify here whether this object type should be displayed in the asset explorer. All objects that are subordinate to an object with this object type (Attachment/component field in the object form) are automatically transferred to the attachment explorer. Only the top node needs to be defined for display. |
External catalogs
In this area, you can store links to other catalogs to which you would assign this object type.| Property | Description |
| Number in Object Register | Select the folder number for the object registry. |
| IFC (ISO 16739) | Enter the name of the ifc entity to which this object type would correspond. |
| CAFM-Connect (IfcClassificationReference) | You can use this entry to specify which type in the CAFM Connect catalog your object type corresponds to. This allows you to prepare the mapping between these catalogs. |
| REG-IS FacId1 | If you use the REG-IS rules information system in parallel, you can use this input to link your own object types to the types in REG-IS. |
Match Codes of Unspecified Objects
This section shows the match codes with the current object type.See also: Matchcode list
Unspecified Objects
The unspecified objects which have been assigned to the match code with the current object type are displayed here.See also: Object list
Individual Fields
In this section you can open a webform in which you can define individual fields for the object type. They are integrated into the webforms of the objects which are connected to the current object type via a match code as input fields and date pickers.See also: Individual Attributes
Operator obligations for properties of the property type
Here you will find a list of all operator obligations (object rules) associated with this object type.See also: Object rule operator obligation
Operator obligations for properties of this type
In this report you will find an overview of all operator obligations linked to this object type.Rights to this object type
This info area contains the rights groups that have access to this object type.See also: Rights to object types
Subordinate object types
In this list you will find all the object types that have been assigned this as their parent.See also: Object types
CAD identification
Information about presentation in CAD visualization can be entered in this section. The information entered here is only useful if CAD visualization is used.| Property | Description |
| hatching | Select the hatching pattern with which the data content is to be marked in the BIM visualization. visualization should be marked. Please note that although all hatch patterns can be displayed in the visualization, only the hatch patterns hatching patterns "1 - none", "2 - 0%" and "12 - 100%" are taken into account when exporting to a PDF are taken into account. |
| background color | Select the color to be used as the background for a hatching pattern here. |
| foreground color | Select the color to be used for the hatching in a hatching pattern here. |
Update individual attributes
With this action, you transfer the settings of the individual attributes of this object type to all assigned matchcodes and objects. After a change to the individual attributes of an object type, this action is required to distribute the change. The action does not delete any individual attributes from matchcodes and objects that have already been distributed.Update individual attributes for ALL OT
With this action you update all individual attributes in all object types, matchcodes and objects to your configuration.distribute rights
This action adopts the rights groups assigned to this object type and also assigns them to all subordinate object types.REG-IS-Facility
This function creates a link in the "Extras" menu that allows you to jump to the REG-IS set of rules. The prerequisite for this is a valid REG-IS login, which must be stored in the system configuration.Create standard matchcode (all object types)
This action checks for EACH object type whether a standard matchcode exists and creates one if not. The name is taken from the object type. A standard matchcode is used to assign the objects to a BIM model during import if no matchcode is transferred from the BIM model.Room status profiles for the object type
