Navigation to this function
This form is used to manage a BIM model and its revisions. You can configure the BIM mapping here and trigger the dynamic mapping in the revision. This is where you configure the assignment of the model to the property and the building. Furthermore, this is where you configure and carry out the model comparison when importing a model to an existing building data set. You can configure which users are informed by email when a model is updated. The BIM profile (the IFC import filter) can be assigned to the model here, as can the assignment of object types to control what should happen to IFC entities during import.
Identification
Basic identification features of the BIM model with typing, code and designation. This is where you define the retention period for revision files, select the display variant and optionally link specialist models to a higher-level architecture model.| Property | Description |
| Retention period [days] | Specify how long files of a revision are kept after they have been replaced by a newer version. After the deadline, the IFC file and the proprietary model file (if archived) are automatically removed from the portal. Revisions that you mark as to be kept permanently are exempt from this rule. |
| Superordinate architecture model | Link technical models (e.g. MEP, supporting structure) with the associated architectural model. This hierarchical assignment enables the technical overlay of models and coordinated display in the BIM Explorer. Only models with an architecture model type are available for selection. |
| Current model phase | When the model is published, the model phase selected for the publication of the last revision is stored here. |
| BimserverPoid | Poid on the part of BIMServer to link the model data set with the model on the BIMServer. |
| display variant | Select the display variant for the visualization of the model in the BIM Explorer. This defines which IFC entities are automatically loaded and displayed when opening. |
| model type | The technical classification of the model (e.g. architecture, building services, structural engineering, electrical engineering). The model type was defined during publication and determines which BIM profiles and import filters are available for this model. |
| Code | The unique short name of the model for quick identification in lists and evaluations. |
| Designation | The full name of the model to describe the content and purpose of the BIM model. |
| Bimserver | When a model is published, the URL of the BIM server on which the model was published is stored here. |
Property / building
Spatial assignment of the BIM model to the location and building. This link forms the basis for data import and model comparison with the CAFM inventory.| Property | Description |
| Location | The location to which this model is assigned. This selection was made during publication. The location stored on the building is decisive for the building assignment. |
Building
Here you assign a building to the model in eTASK. The assignment is a prerequisite for calling up and updating models and for data synchronization for existing buildings.See also: Assignment: Model to building
Options for data synchronization via building assignment
Control the model comparison between the imported BIM model and the existing CAFM building. Specify whether workstations and doors should be excluded from automatic data synchronization.| Property | Description |
| Ignore doors | Activate this option to exclude doors from the model comparison. This is useful if the door data is only maintained in the CAFM and should not be compared with the BIM model. |
| Ignoring jobs | Activate this option to exclude workstations from the model comparison. This is useful if the workplace planning is maintained exclusively in CAFM and is not to be compared with the BIM model. |

Synchronize data via building assignment
The system searches for differences in the data. If there are any, a link is created to an evaluation. All differences must then be corrected there.Actions
