model types

Use this form to manage the various model types for the technical classification of your BIM models. Define types such as "Architectural model", "MEP model" or "Structural model" to structure your models according to specialist areas. The processing of buildings, floors and rooms is automatically activated for architectural models. You can assign individual BIM profiles to the model types using the import filters in order to apply subject-specific import rules.

Basic information for unambiguous identification and technical classification of the model type with designation as an architecture model.

Property	Description
Model type is "architectural model"	Identification as an architectural model to automatically activate the processing of buildings, floors and rooms when importing models into the eTASK property structure
Code	Short, concise abbreviation for the model type (e.g. "ARCH" for architecture, "TGA" for technical building equipment, "STAT" for statics) for quick identification
Designation	Complete, meaningful designation of the model type (e.g. "Architectural model", "MEP model", "Structural model"), as displayed in model management and evaluations
Internal ID (Data ID)	Unique internal identifier for system-wide identification and referencing of this model type
