Navigation to this function

Enter all relevant data on meters in your company in this form. The meter number is important here. Enter the location of the meter via the room. Enter information on certification, calibration and testing and provide details of the meter's totalizer. You can also use this form to configure mobile meter reading of the meter and enter relevant information on the utility bill.


Meter data

Information on the identification of the data record is stored in this info area.

Maximum valueSelection of the maximum value that the counter can display.
Initial statusEnter the meter reading when installing the meter.
conversion factorEntry of the conversion factor for the displayed meter reading, which is used to determine the actual consumption.
Identification 01An additional identification can be entered here
meter typeSelection of the meter type.
meter numberEnter the number of the meter. The number should be the actual meter number. Otherwise there may be problems with the meter reading.

Enter a freely selectable abbreviation for the counter.
DesignationEnter the name of the meter.
Installation location (room)Selection of the room in which the meter is located.
Type of basic price of the supplierSelection of the type of basic price of the supplier.
Base price of the supplier [€]Enter the basic price of the supplier in euros.
ProviderThe utility company responsible for this meter is selected here. This information is important for the correct allocation of measured values, billing and maintenance tasks as part of meter management.
Internal ID (Data ID)The internal ID, or data ID, is used within the application to uniquely identify the data record.

LogicController

In the work bar under "Extras", the "Meter removal / replacement" function can be used to document the replacement of a meter or its removal without replacement. When the meter is replaced, it is ensured that consumption continues to be calculated correctly. In the work bar under "Extras", the "Copy supply areas from another meter" function can be used to assign the rooms that belong to the supply areas of another existing meter.

Meter assignment

This group includes features for assigning and identifying a meter within the metering infrastructure. It contains information such as meter number, location and associated connections.

BuildingIf a meter is assigned to a building, the building is taken into account when transferring the unit price from the master data

Further data

This group includes additional attributes of the meter that are not included in other categories. It contains additional information that may be relevant for special analyses or administrative purposes.

GLT IDEnter the data point of the meter in the building management system.
CommissioningSelection of the date on which the meter was put into operation.
Year of constructionEnter the year of construction of the meter in the format YYYY.
remarkEntry of comments or notes on the meter.
Other service areasEnter other objects that are counted by the counter.
other locationIf the meter is not located in a recorded room, the location can be selected here. These other locations must be recorded beforehand.
Bar CodeThe barcode uniquely identifies the meter and enables the device to be quickly recorded and assigned. It is used when installing, reading or maintaining the meter and facilitates the automated processing of meter data in the utility company.

Billing

The billing information is displayed in this info area.
PropertyDescription
distribution formulaSelection of the distribution formula if the costs are to be allocated to the rooms of a group of buildings.
Unit price (net) [€]Enter the net price per unit in euros if it differs from the standard price per unit.
Accounting periodSelection of the interval at which invoices are to be created for this meter.
cost centerSelection of the cost center via which the meter is billed.
settlement typeSelection of the billing type. Depending on the value selected here, various other fields are activated that are required to ensure correct billing. This enables different billing scenarios in eTASK.operating cost billing.
Rental agreementSelection of the rental contract to which the costs of the meter are allocated.
Different G/L accountThe G/L account determines the cost type for which the meter costs are transferred in the BK settlement.
BuildingSelection of the building in which the distribution is to take place. This information is stored as an alternative to the distribution formula and is required if the selected cost center or rental agreement is valid for several buildings.
Basic fee for meter reading period (net) [€]Enter the basic fee for the meter reading period (net) in euros.

Mobile meter reading

The settings for mobile meter reading can be made in this info area.

exchange formatSelection of the file format to be used for exchange by the import and export function for external meter reading.
Reading sequenceHere you will find the reading sequence.
Mobile meter readingSpecifies whether the meter readings of the current meter are read on the move. If this checkbox is activated, the meter data is exported for mobile meter reading if the "Active" checkbox is activated at the same time.

Certification, verification and testing

Information on the certification, calibration and testing of the meter can be entered here.

calibration yearEnter the year in which the meter was last calibrated in the format YYYY.
last testSpecification of the date on which the counter was last checked, in the format DD.MM.YYYY.
Notarized untilSpecification of the date up to which the counter is certified, in the format DD.MM.YYYY.
Notarization bySelection of the person who carried out the notarization.
next examSpecification of the date of the next check of the counter in the format DD.MM.YYYY.
recalibrationSpecification of the date on which the meter must next be calibrated, in the format DD.MM.YYYY.
Examination bySelection of the person who carried out the test.
Year of certificationEnter the year in which the meter was last certified in the format YYYY.

Settings Sustainability report

You can use these settings to control how the sustainability report will display certain things.
PropertyDescription
Hide meter readingWith this setting, you specify that the meter reading is not displayed in the sustainability report, even if the meter appears. Use this e.g. for sub-counters or those whose value is to be converted.
Consumption meterThis setting is only informative and indicates whether the meter returns a reading or the consumption since the last reading. This usually applies to digital meters with remote reading.
Convert unitWith this setting, you specify that the unit is converted from the meter reading to another unit, e.g. from m³ of natural gas to kWh. To do this, you must also enter the conversion factor for each supplier and year in the system control.
