Use this form to define the types of waste present in your company, which you can then assign to waste containers. A waste type combines legally prescribed classifications with individual details. Categorize your waste according to the following standards: Waste codes according to the Waste Catalogue Ordinance (AVV), hazard numbers, UN numbers and risk and safety phrases (H and P phrases) according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). You can use color coding to highlight waste containers with this type of waste in CAD plans.

This information area contains details on the identification and classification of the waste type, including the legally prescribed categories and labels.| Property | Description |
| Code | Freely selectable abbreviation for unique identification of the waste type. The code is displayed in lists and selection fields. |
| Designation | Complete, meaningful designation of the waste type. This is displayed to users throughout the application. |
| Waste code | Waste code in accordance with the Waste Catalogue Ordinance (AVV) for legally compliant classification of the waste type. The waste codes are also supplied by eTASK. |
| UN number | UN number (United Nations substance number) for the international labeling of dangerous substances and goods. The UN numbers are also supplied by eTASK. |
| waste category | Assignment to an internally defined waste category for additional structuring and evaluation options. Waste categories are created in the form of the same name. |
| type of disposal | Type of disposal for this type of waste (e.g. recycling, incineration, landfill). Disposal types are defined in the form of the same name. |
Use for
In this info area, you can specify whether this waste type can be used elsewhere in environmental protection management. If you activate the "Pollutant" option, for example, you can select this waste type when a pollutant is found and use it as a pollutant. You can use these options to restrict the number of selections in the other selection fields.| Property | Description |

Color coding
Specify here which colors should be used to display waste containers with this waste type in CAD visualizations. You can combine a foreground color for the hatching and a background color for the spaces. The color display becomes active when you assign a corresponding legend to the display variant.| Property | Description |
