Waste code

Management of the six-digit waste codes in accordance with the Waste Catalogue Ordinance (AVV). The waste codes are used to uniquely identify and classify waste according to its type and origin. The master data is supplied by eTASK and corresponds to the current legal situation. In addition, you can define colour codes for the visualization of waste containers in CAD plans.

Identification features of the waste code according to AVV. Each waste code consists of a six-digit code number and a name that describes the type of waste.

Property	Description
Chapter	Assignment to a chapter of the AVV system. The AVV is divided into main chapters (2 digits), waste groups (4 digits) and waste codes (6 digits). This link assigns the waste code to its hierarchical position.
key number	Six-digit AVV code number in the format XX XX XX (e.g. 20 03 01 for "mixed municipal waste", 17 01 07 for "mixtures of concrete, bricks, tiles and ceramics"). The first two digits indicate the main chapter, the middle two the waste group and the last two the specific waste. Keys marked with an asterisk (*) are hazardous waste.
Designation	Official designation of the waste in accordance with the Waste Catalogue Ordinance. The designation precisely describes the type and composition of the waste (e.g. "mixed municipal waste", "plastic packaging", "PCB-containing capacitors"). In the case of hazardous waste, the designation is marked with an asterisk (*).

Definition of the colors for the visual representation of the waste code in CAD plans and legends. The combination of foreground and background colors enables waste containers to be clearly identified according to their waste type in visualizations and floor plans.

Property	Description
foreground color	Selection of the color for the hatching of the waste code in CAD representations. The foreground color is used for marking waste containers in plans and legends.
background color	Selection of the background color for the display of the waste code. The background color fills the free areas in the hatching pattern and enables a clear visual distinction between different types of waste in the visualization.
hatching	⚠️ This property will be removed in one of the next releases. Please do not use it anymore. Select the hatching pattern with which the data content is to be marked in the BIM visualization. visualization should be marked.
