After creating a lease agreement, you specify in the term which properties are being leased. A lease agreement can span multiple terms, for example, to reflect lease adjustments. At any given time, there is only one active term.
Note: When you create a new time period, the previous one is automatically closed. The most recent time period always runs until the (provisional) end of the contract.
Prerequisite

Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Property Management - Leasing - Lease Agreements
Open the lease agreement for which you want to create a new period.
In the toolbar, click Create New Period under Extras.
Enter the start date of the new period.
Click Add Period.
The period is created. To calculate a rental price for the period, you must assign all rented properties to the period.
