Meter groups

Create meter groups in this form. You can then assign all the meters in the meter group to the meter groups. For example, a meter group could consist of all electricity meters in a house. On the one hand, meter groups offer you the possibility of determining purely informative data on the consumption of the group, on the other hand, you can define the distribution of consumption for the utility bill. To ensure that distribution to rooms / outdoor areas is filled correctly, the following applies: Meters have rooms in the supply area. The meter group has an allocation key for the building. The allocation key has rooms.

Identification of the meter group

Information on the identification of the data record is stored in this info area.

Property	Description
Description	Enter a description of the meter group.
Meter group	Enter the full name of the meter group.
meter type	Selection of the meter type of the meter group.
Property	Selection of the location where the meter group is installed.
G/L account	Selection of the G/L account via which the meter group is billed. The G/L account determines the cost element.

Accounting

The meter readings from the group can be distributed to rooms in the supply area of the meter or to another group.

Property	Description
Allocation type	Selection of the allocation type (rentable area, rented area, direct costs).
Distribution to	Selection of the way in which the consumption is to be distributed to the rooms.
or allocation to the group	Selection of the group with which the consumption of the current meter is to be billed. This makes it possible to bill meters with different meter types via a common consumption, e.g: Chillers are counted via refrigeration meters, but are operated with electricity. With the assignment to an electricity meter group, the refrigeration meter is billed via the electricity costs.

Allocation key

Consumption is allocated to rooms. The rooms must be located in the supply areas of the meters and have defined the allocation key.

Property	Description
Allocation key	Selection of the allocation key to be used for billing consumption. The rooms in the allocation key must also be located in the supply area of the meter.
Building	Selection of the building for which the consumption monitored by the meter group is billed.
