Navigation to this function
Manage the floors of the buildings using this form by first assigning the building in which the floor is located and then entering further information to identify the floor (name, level, area, etc.). Then assign all the rooms on the floor to it. If you are also using eTASK.CAD, the floor plan is displayed in a new tab after clicking on the magnifying glass symbol. In the "CAD drawings" area, you can upload existing CAD plans for the floor on the project side.
Identification
In this section, data for the identification of the floor can be entered. This information will be used to identify it across the entire FM-Portal.| Property | Description |
| Floor | Enter a unique abbreviation for the story on which the floor is located (e.g. "2nd" for "Second Floor"). |
| Code | Displays the floor code which is automatically generated from the code of the building in which the floor is located. |
| Name | Enter the full name of the floor, which should ideally be a clear combination of floor and building information (e.g. "2.OG Adenauerstraße 34, Munich"). |
| Floor Number | Enter a number defining on which level of the building the floor is located. The lowest level (e.g. the basement) is always level "1". The floors in menu item "Properties/CAD" are also sorted according to the information entered here. |

Buildings
You can select the building and the part of the building in which the floor is located in this section.| Property | Description |

Space
Here, you can enter the gross total area of the floor.| Property | Description |
| Gross Total Area [m²] | Enter the floor's gross surface area in square meters. |
| Standard Space per Work Station [m²] | Enter the standard space per work station on the present floor in square meters. |
Heights
This group includes various height specifications for floors, such as storey height, floor height or clear room height. The values are used for vertical positioning and dimensioning of floors in the building.| Property | Description |
| Gross storey height [m] | Specification of the gross storey height in meters. |
| Net storey height [m] | Specification of the net storey height in meters. |
| Height to ground floor top FFB [m] | Specification of the distance from the zero height of the building to the upper edge of the finished floor on the first floor in meters. |
Mapping model
The mapping model includes features for the spatial representation and location of a floor. It contains information on the geometric representation and positioning of the floor within the building.| Property | Description |
| NAVVIS Code | Here you can store the code specified in NAVVIS for the floor in order to support the synchronization between the systems. |
Rooms
This list shows all rooms which have been assigned to the floor. Click "Add Room" to create a new room which then is directly assigned to the floor.See also: Rooms
