This form is used to manage the access rights of the various user groups in the FM portal. Individual users can later be added to one of the user groups created here and receive the rights defined for the user group in this form. For more information on the rights that can be assigned, open the FM portal rights overview article. This can be found under Related topics and instructions.


Identification

In this section, data for the identification of the user group can be entered. This information will be used to identify it across the entire FM-Portal.
PropertyDescription
Creation DateSelect the date on which the group was created.
Group TypeSelect the group type.
DescriptionEnter a description of the group here. Describe the group so that another user can understand when and why people should be assigned to the group and which tasks they can then perform.
CompanySelect the company to which the user group belongs.
CodeEnter an abbreviation for the user group.
NameEnter a meaningful name for the user group.
Administrator GroupIndicate whether the user group is an administrator group. This gives users in this group access to all elements of FM-Portal.
Service GroupIndicate whether the user group is a service group. This group can then be used in the workflow management.
Standard GroupIndicate whether the group should be set as a standard group. If this option is set, all Portal users will be automatically granted the access rights defined for this group.
Automatic groupIndicate whether the group should be set up as an automatic group. Automatic groups are adapted automatically to the menu item of the associated product. Automated, meaningful read and write rights are granted depending on the authorization (read, edit, Administrator). Automatic groups can be updated following an FM-Portal update.
Internal ID (Data ID)The internal ID, or data ID, is used within the application to uniquely identify the data record.

Group Members

This list shows all users in the user group. Click "Add Group Member" to assign additional group members.

Rights to Menu Options

In this area, the rights of the group to the nodes in the menu and webforms are configured. To accurately use this section, click on "Help" on the webform tool bar and read the "Detailed documentation" area on the tab that opens there.

Rights to property/object explorer

In this selection, you can specify which buildings are displayed to the members of this rights group in the property or object explorer.

Rights to display variants

The display variants that users in this group can select in the BIM Explorer can be defined in this area.

In this area, it is possible to define rights for users on dashboard tiles. The rights are then restricted to these dashboard tiles.

Specify here which of the available modules are displayed to a user of the app if they are assigned to this rights group.

Rights to dynamic features

Use this area to assign rights to several dynamic features centrally for a role. If you want to assign the right for a few new features to many groups, then use the corresponding function in the assignment of feature to form.

Group E-Mail Settings

You can change the settings of the user group's mailing list in this section.
PropertyDescription
Group E-Mail BoxEnter the email address of the user group‘s mailing list.
Group Mail Reception ActiveIndicate whether the mailing list is active and can be used. If the checkbox is not checked, each email will be sent to the email addresses of users in this group.

Service Group Responsibilities

If the user group is a service group, all its responsibilities will be listed here. Click "Add Responsibility" to determine further responsibilities for the service group.

DisableAutoGroups

This function ensures that the header data of a group cannot be edited as long as the "Automatic group" checkbox is active.
