Data records for order types can be maintained in this form. As a template, the order type facilitates the control of order execution, as it contains certain target times and performance conditions (escalation levels for the order, request for acceptance confirmations, etc.).
Identification
Information on the data record’s identification is entered in this section.| Property | Description |
| Code | Enter an abbreviation for the order type (e.g. "IT" for "IT device maintenance"). |
| Name | Enter the full name for the order type (e.g. "Maintenance work on IT devices"). This information also appears in the list of all order types therefore a name which is as precise as possible will facilitate finding the data record at a later stage. |
| Fault message | Indication of whether the order type is a malfunction |
Workflow Control
You can set here whether an order with this order type can enable an escalation process.| Property | Description |
| Escalation check static | Indicate whether the calculation of times for sending reminder emails should take place for all orders or tasks with the present order type. 3 deadlines are checked in the process: target start time, target end time and target acceptance time. There are 2 escalation steps in each case. |
| Escalation check active | Indicate whether an escalation process's trigger will be activated for all orders or tasks with the present order type. This means that the system reports a missed deadline when the order is accepted and/or concluded. The escalation process consists of the automatic sending of notification and reminder emails to the service provider. This takes place until the order is further processed by the service provider. |
| Standard order type for service tickets | Specifies whether this order type is to be used as the standard order type for all service tickets that are marked for further processing in eTASK.Instandhaltung. |
| Escalation period [days] | Enter a period of time according to which the first reminder should be sent to the service provider if the order which is connected to the order type has not been reported as "Done" by this time. |
| Payment reminder after | Enter a period after which the second reminder should be sent to the service provider if the order linked to the type of order has not been registered as "Completed" by this period. |
| Interval [days] | Interval [in days] in which orders are to take place for this order type |
