Navigation to this function
Here you can define the service tiles that are displayed on the "Services" start page. Tiles can start special workflows, trigger forms or wizards, or link to content outside of eTASK, such as intranet pages with help or other services from other departments.
Identification
In this info area you will find information that can be used to identify the data record. This is usually the code and the name, together with other important information.| Property | Description |
| Tile title line 2 | Here you define the bottom line of the caption for your tile. Note the maximum text length of approx. 20 characters. |
| Internal ID (Data ID) | The internal ID, or data ID, is used within the application to uniquely identify the data record. |
| Active | Here you specify whether the tile should be active or not. Only active service tiles are displayed on the Services StartPage and can be used. |
| Position | Use this feature to define the order of the tiles on the Services StartPage. If you assign the same position multiple times, the older tile is displayed first. |
| Workflow form | Use this selection to decide which form the tile should lead to. Please note that the selection is restricted to forms for which a workflow has been registered. |
| or homepage | If you want to reach a destination other than a form with workflow, you can enter the link to the desired location here. Please note that you can only enter one of the two and that the link is subject to a number of restrictions. If you are unsure, please contact your contact person at eTASK or the support team. |
| Tile title line 1 | This is where you define the top line of the label for your tile. Note the maximum text length of approx. 20 characters. |
| Tile text | Here you can define a text that is displayed when a user hovers over the image of the service tile with the mouse. |
| Color | Enter the hash value of the color you want to give the tile as a background. A hash value consists of a # and 6 digits and ranges between #000000 (black) and #ffffff (white). When selecting the color, note the connection with the text color in the next feature. Choose a good contrast between the two colors and make sure that users with impaired vision can also recognize the tiles in terms of accessibility. |

| in a new browser tab | With this option, you can specify whether the destination of the tile is called up in a new browser tab or in a tab within the eTASK.FM portal. Use this especially if you want to access destinations on the Internet or in other applications so that your users are not confronted with unpleasant security queries or technical restrictions. |
Workflow and start step
These characteristics describe the workflow and the initial step that is triggered when a service tile is selected. They define the sequence and starting point of the respective service process.| Property | Description |
| Workflow | If a workflow is started from the tile, you can select the workflow here. The selected workflow must match the workflow form. |
| Start step | You can select any step as the start step for your workflow, to which the workflow is transferred after the tile has been used. Please note that not every step of a workflow is suitable as a start step. If in doubt, get in touch with your contact at eTASK. |
