September 2022 Release
Important Notice for Customers Using eTASK Outlook Room Booking or eTASK Suite SmartReservation
On October 12, 2020, Microsoft discontinued support for Exchange Server 2010, and there are no longer any security updates or patches to fix bugs.
With the next release (November 2022), support for Exchange Server 2010 will also end for the eTASK Outlook Add-in. The add-in will no longer be available for download in this version and can no longer be provided by your project manager.
You can still obtain the eTASK Outlook Add-in for Exchange Server 2016 and 2019, as well as for use with your Office 365 cloud.

eTASK BIM
New feature: Workstations in workstation groups can be color-coded
Using the newly introduced workstation groups, you can flexibly assign people to a work area rather than a specific workstation. If you now create a display group "Display Variant" with a legend that assigns colors to the work areas, the workstations assigned to these work areas will be displayed in color in the BIM Explorer.
eTASK Payment Transactions
Bug fix: Correction to payment run assignment
There was an error in the technical procedure when searching for the payment run if the invoice was released after the payment due date. Now, an invoice released after the payment due date is assigned to the next available payment run. Invoices are also now assigned to the correct payment run if the invoice payment date and the run execution date fall on the same day.

eTASK FM Procurement
Bug fix: Update button added to orders
When a new item was added to a purchase order, the button to update the order was missing from the order form. It was only visible if an item had already been added. This has now been fixed.

eTASK Building Diagnosis
New feature: Master list for building diagnostics and budgets is available
The eTASK Building Diagnosis product is designed to perform a preliminary diagnosis of buildings to facilitate budgeting. This allows you, among other things, to identify buildings in your portfolio that are operating at a loss and to determine repair costs. To this end, we have created a new report that displays all important information regarding the most recent rough diagnosis of a building, including the derived budgets and their status. You can find the new report "Master List of Building Diagnosis and Budgets" in Technical Building Management.
eTASK Catering Room Service
Improvement: Catering Room Service Adjustments
The adjustments made in eTASK Catering Room Service allow administrators to create deep links. This provides users with direct and easier access to the system. A URL parameter for location, building, floor, and room automatically narrows the room filter to the desired property when the form is opened. This is now also possible during quick booking. Another configuration parameter also offers the option to display the description of the catering items above the booking form.

eTASK Operating Cost Accounting
Improvement: Calculation of input tax allocation to the third decimal place
Input tax allocation is now calculated to the third decimal place. This results in more accurate rounding of the amounts and thus an improved allocation of input tax.

eTASK Maintenance
Improvement: Email notifications in order planning changed
The order planning workflow within eTASK Maintenance has been adjusted: In the subject line, we no longer use the comment but rather the system entry in the "Code" field. This prevents the email subject from becoming too long for sending when descriptions are lengthy.

Bug fix: Allocation of tax entries upon cancellation now occurs correctly

Bug fix: Display of current contract value corrected

Improvement: Enhanced energy reporting through customized reports
To enable transparent energy reporting, we have made improvements to several reports. The Meter Reading Report now displays the structure of main and sub-meters as defined in the portal. Sub-meters are displayed indented below the main meter. The Utility Notification and Sustainability Report have been updated to include additional information.
They now also display the address of the selected location and the unit in the Consumption column.
In addition, you can now see the total per location and the grand total for the consumption included in the report.
Interim readings on sub-meters are summarized and allocated to the main meter’s total.
Deactivated or replaced (main) meters are also visible in the report.
For gas meters, both m³ and kWh are available as units.
Improvement: View sent emails in Workflow Control
Within an eTASk workflow, administrators can now view all sent emails for a record in Workflow Control. Whether it’s a maintenance order, purchase order, or outgoing invoice—all emails sent for this process are listed in a new tab. Previously, these emails were only viewable in the System Control under Mailbox.

Improvement: Changes to the Index Lease Agreement
An index-linked lease agreement can be either a residential lease or a commercial lease. When a new index-linked lease agreement is created in etask.Rental, the index—which is unknown at the time of creation—is calculated based on the last available base price.
Highlight: Employee placement via room groups
The newly introduced workstation groups provide the basis for flexible workstation allocation. These groups allow you to assign people to an area rather than just a specific workstation. Under the Room Occupancy menu item, you can now set the occupancy concept (fixed workstation occupancy or flexible workstation occupancy). This newly introduced procedure affects your workstation occupancy and space billing. For this feature, we offer a traffic light view that allows you to identify missing data entries. This way, you can see at a glance what actions you need to take to correct your workstation allocation and the associated reporting. A billing profile also takes the new flexible workstation allocation into account. Allocation can be evaluated based on the following metrics:
Number of workstations
Number of rooms
Number of employees
Occupancy rate (employees / workstations)
Average workstation area (total room area / number of workstations)
Area of the workstation group (total proportionate room areas)
