Navigation to this function
Link BIM models with buildings in eTASK. This mapping is the basis for the correct import of floors, rooms and objects from the IFC file into the corresponding building structure. For existing buildings that are already filled with data in CAFM, you also configure the mapping for data synchronization between the imported BIM model and existing CAFM data here.
Identification
Assignment characteristics for the link between BIM model and building. This is where you define which model belongs to which building and configure the mapping for data synchronization for existing buildings.| Property | Description |
| Model | The BIM model to which the building is assigned. The IFC data (floors, rooms, objects) is imported from this model into the building structure of eTASK. |
| Building | The building in eTASK into which the model data will be imported. Select the target building for the IFC data import here. |
| Building mapping (for existing building data mapping) | Use this option if you want to subsequently link a BIM model to an existing building that is already filled with CAFM data. The selection activates the model comparison, in which floors, rooms, workstations, doors and objects are compared and assigned between the BIM model and existing eTASK data. Without this selection, new data structures are created from the model. |
