Navigation to this function
Use the webform "Locking Systems" to create data records of locking systems in a building. You can select them later in the webforms "Key Groups" and "Cylinder Groups" to assign them to each other which ensures the functionality of the locking plan.
Identification
Information on the data record’s identification is entered in this section.| Property | Description |
| Code | Enter an abbreviation for the locking system. We recommend that you do not use a sequential numeric code but rather that you use a code which is as informative as possible (e.g. an abbreviation for a building or location e.g. "G1-North"). |
| Name | Enter the full name for the locking system. A clear and precise description is useful as it appears in many lists and drop-down menus in FM-Portal. |

| Place of Installation | Select the location in which the locking system is installed. |
| Remarks | Enter comments or information about the exact place of installation (e.g. building 2, 3rd floor). |
| Type | Select the underlying technology which uses the locking device. |
| Manfacturer | Select the locking system's manufacturer. |
| System | Enter the name of the installed locking system (e.g. "Safelock XR 500"). |
| Profile | Enter the cylinder profile used by the locking system (e.g. "beveled profile"). |
Cylinder groups
