You can use the tile configuration to direct users to specific menu items with predefined parameters. Set up a tile so that the user is taken directly to the desired location.
Tip: You can copy the link to this preselection and make it available on your intranet, for example.
Example: This guide shows an example of a tile that links to the "Quick Booking Meeting Room" menu item with the preselection "Projector" as the desired resource.
You have admin rights in the portal.
Path to the starting point: Control Panel - MyFM - Service Tiles - Service Tiles
Open the service tile you want to customize or create a new tile. 📄 Service-Kacheln anpassen IC2516
Here, search 📄 Parameter für Servicekacheln (Buchungsseiten) IC2849 for the parameter from the table. In our case, Quick Booking Meeting Room (lower table).
Copy the desired parameter value to the Service Tile: Edit tab in the attribute or, in our case, to the home page: ~/GL/Content.aspx?pid=1fa8f916-182b-4324-b3c4-a146298f36de
Note: The link is structured as follows: ~/GL/Content.aspx?pid=Page UID value&Differentiation=Value
Note: Additional values can be appended, each separated by a comma. The last part of the link could therefore look like this: &Resource=Beamer,Moderator's Kit,Flipchart 📄 Parameter für Servicekacheln (Buchungsseiten) IC2849
Add the additional differentiation after the value. (Example: &Resources=Beamer) (table above).
Click Save.
If you want to use the link to insert it elsewhere (e.g., on your intranet), click Copy Link in the External Link section.
You have set up the tile. It now links to the Quick Booking Meeting Room menu item with the projector resource preselected.
