To track cost centers internally, create cost centers to which you can then assign costs.
This is done in a form. The basic function of forms is described in this article: 📄 Formulare IC1105
Prerequisite
The company to which the cost center is to be assigned already exists in the system.
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Basic Data - Cost Centers
Click New... in the toolbar.
Fill in all required fields. If necessary, refer to the form structure (accessible via the help icon in the FM Portal) for assistance.
Click Save in the toolbar.
The cost center has been created and can now be used when entering costs.
Tip: If you want to create multiple cost centers at once, you can also use the Excel import feature.
