To use the building information system, the following must first be set up:
a general user with a permission group for using the building information system must be set up, and
the link to the building information system with IP restriction must be set up.
General User and Permission Group
First, create a user with a username and password ( 📄 Neue Benutzer anlegen IC1516 ). Here is an example of how you can name the user:
Create a permission group ( 📄 Gruppen und Rechte IC10399 ). Here, you define what users are allowed to see, and you also control the read permissions in the room form, which can be accessed in the results list during a search.
It is important that the function under Portfolio (BIM) - Property Cadastre - Reports - Building Information System is set to “Read.”
Assign the user group to the created user.
Set up a link to the Building Information System with IP restriction
Under the Short URLs table, create a record for the Building Information System via “New…”: Control Panel - Portal Options - Portal Administration - Short URLs - Short URLs
Select the entry "Building Information System" as the menu item
Select the created user as the system user
Display Menu? : Specify whether the menu should be displayed when the URL is called up or not.
Display Header? : Specify whether the portal header should be displayed when the URL is called up.
In the “IP Addresses with Access to Short URL” section, you can either enter individual IP addresses that should have access to the short URL, or IP ranges within an organization.
Once the user, the permission group, and the short URL with IP addresses have been set up, you can access the building information system by clicking the link: https://deine_eTASK_Portal_URL/tiny/GBS.
