Use this form to determine which people occupy a workflow role. Workflow roles are always filled after a condition has been met. If the condition is fulfilled, the persons specified in the staffing configuration are assigned to the workflow role. A workflow role can be filled statically by individuals or groups or dynamically by using an SQL query.
Identification
Information on the data record’s identification is entered in this section.
| Property | Description |
| Description | Enter a detailed description of how the workflow role is filled. This is particularly important if the workflow role is filled differently under different conditions. |
| Workflow role | Select the workflow role for which an occupancy configuration should be created. |
| Description | Enter a detailed description of the workflow role occupancy. This is particularly important if the workflow role is fulfilled in different ways under different conditions. |
| Internal ID (Data ID) | The internal ID, or data ID, is used within the application to uniquely identify the data record. |
Role assignment
Define which persons fulfill the workflow role here. A role can be dynamically or statically fulfilled. A dynamic occupancy is performed via an SQL query. Individual persons or groups can be entered as static occupancy. It is possible to occupy a workflow role both dynamically and statically at once. If an individual person, group and dynamically created persons should be included simultaneously in the workflow role, they can all be selected at the same time in this section. If additional groups or persons are required in the workflow role, the present data record can be copied and other employees or another group can be selected there for the workflow role.
| Property | Description |
| Employee | Select the employee who should occupy the role. |
| Group | Select the group which should occupy the role. |
| Dynamic cast of characters | Indication of whether dynamic castings are available. |
Assessment of role assignments
This section can be used to assess which persons concretely take over (or have taken over in the past) the workflow role and in which workflow run.
