Display groups are used for the structured display of display variants in the BIM Explorer. They group display variants into thematically similar blocks, which can be assigned as such a block to one or more drawing links.

Information on the identification of the data record is stored in this info area.| Property | Description |
| Code | Enter a freely selectable abbreviation for the display group. This code is displayed in the BIM Explorer when the display variant is selected, supplemented by the name of the display group. |
| Designation | Enter the full name for the display group. The display group is listed in the BIM Explorer under this name, preceded by a code. |
Selection of display variants
The display variants that are assigned to the display group can be selected here. They are then displayed below this group in the BIM Explorer. The order of the display variants is based on the code of the display variant.See also: display variants

All assigned display variants are listed in this area. The individual display variants can be called up more easily via this area.See also: Display Variants for Display Group
used in model/drawing links
All model/drawing links to which the existing display group is assigned are listed in this area. All calls to the BIM Explorer that are configured via the model/drawing links assigned here contain the existing display group.See also: Display groups for the drawing link
