Accounting years

The "Accounting years" data object is used to manage and structure financial years in the accounting system. It enables the definition of the accounting period, including the start month, for each company and controls the process of the annual financial statements. By defining and closing accounting years, the framework conditions for recording and evaluating financial transactions, costs and postings within the defined period are created, which ensures orderly accounting and reporting.

Identification

In this info area you will find information that can be used to identify the data record. This is usually the code and the name, together with other important information.

Property	Description
Society	Selection of the company for which the accounting year is to be created.
Accounting year	Specification of the accounting year
starting month	Specification of the starting month of the accounting year. 12 booking months are created from the starting month
Completed	When the year is closed, all booking months are closed

A posting year is created with all months if it does not exist. A booking year is copied with all months for n companies. The booking year can be closed if there are no open tickets.
