Navigation to this function

Use this form to manage the basic mapping rules between IFC entities (IFC classes) and eTASK forms. Define which IFC object classes from the BIM model should be imported into which eTASK objects. Each mapping rule can be activated or deactivated and forms the basis for automatic data import. You can also use the detailed attribute mappings to define which IFC attributes are transferred to which eTASK features.

identification

Basic information on IFC entity mapping and control of the activation of this mapping rule during model import.
PropertyDescription
IFC classSelection of the IFC class or IFC entity (e.g. IfcWall, IfcDoor, IfcSpace) in accordance with ISO 16739 that is to be transferred to eTASK objects during model import
Active?Control whether this mapping rule is to be applied automatically during model import or is temporarily deactivated

eTASK

Assignment to the target table in eTASK into which objects of the IFC entity are to be imported during model import.
PropertyDescription
eTASK FormSelection of the eTASK form or table (e.g. objects, rooms, floors) in which instances of this IFC class are created as data records during model import

Actions

Configuration of automatic value management and bidirectional data synchronization between BIM model and eTASK.
PropertyDescription
Register values?Control whether new values from the BIM import should be automatically created as selection values in the value register to ensure consistent data management
Maintaining values in BIM?Activation of bidirectional synchronization, where changes from eTASK can be written back to the BIM model (requires corresponding BIM add-in)

BIM Tools

Alternative mapping configurations for BIM authoring tools to use native class names from Revit or ArchiCAD instead of IFC entities.
PropertyDescription
Revit Mapping StringAlternative mapping string for Autodesk Revit to use native Revit categories or families directly if the model originates from Revit
Archicad Mapping StringAlternative mapping string for Graphisoft ArchiCAD to use native ArchiCAD classifications if the model originates from ArchiCAD
