Navigation to this function

This data object manages information on workplaces as part of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It is used to compare BIM models and the Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system to ensure consistency in workplace planning. The object contains data on workstation numbers, room assignments, floor details and building affiliation, both for production and test purposes. It supports building planning, facility management and workplace optimization processes.

List

This group contains characteristics that relate to lists or enumerations in the context of workplaces. It includes categorized information that is relevant for the management and analysis of workplaces.
PropertyDescription
Traffic lightThe traffic light gives a colored indication of the status of the data. A more detailed description can be found in the Traffic light Note column.
NoteThe note in this column gives you further information on the displayed traffic light color. Follow the instructions to be able to change red and yellow traffic lights in particular.
ModelThis field shows the code of the workplace model in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It is used to clearly identify and categorize different workplace types within building planning and management.
Note on testingHere you will find the information for checking whether the workstation needs to be checked on the BIM or eTASK side. If the traffic light is green, you can ignore the message.
BuildingThis field shows the unique code of the building in which the assigned workstation is located. It is used to quickly identify and assign workstations to specific buildings within the Building Information Modeling (BIM) system.
FloorIndicates the floor number of the assigned workstation in the building. This information is important for spatial assignment and navigation within the building as part of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
RoomThis field shows the unique number of the room in which the assigned workstation is located. It enables precise localization and management of workstations within the building as part of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
WorkplaceThe workstation number uniquely identifies a specific workstation within the building. It is used for the precise assignment of employees to workstations and for managing and planning the use of space as part of Building Information Modeling.
ClientThe logical client is visible at this point. This is always 01 as long as the client separation has not been activated. Please refer to the help.

Excel export

This group contains characteristics that are relevant for exporting workplace data to Excel. It includes properties that are required in tabular form for analyses and reports.
PropertyDescription
Number of floorsNumber of floors
Number of workstations (test)This field records the number of workstations for a specific area in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It serves as a test field for checking and validating workstation capacity in digital building planning and management.
Number of roomsIndicates the total number of rooms in a workspace. This information is important for space planning and management in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and helps to assess the capacity and utilization of workspaces.
Floor number (test)Number of floors (test)
Work center number (test)This number uniquely identifies a workstation in the building for test purposes in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It is used to reference workstations in the planning and management of buildings and is important for spatial allocation in the BIM model.
Number of workstationsIndicates the number of workstations for the specific building area. This information is important for capacity planning and room allocation in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and is used for analyses and Excel export.
Number of rooms (test)This test field records the number of rooms assigned to a workplace in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It is used for the preliminary analysis and planning of room capacities in buildings and can be used for Excel exports.
Room number (test)This field is used to record and display the room number in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM). It is a test column that is used for development and testing purposes and is not intended for operational use. The data entered here should therefore be treated with caution.
