This web service is used to confirm a booking made through eTASK.RoomReservation and any extension module of eTASK.RoomReservation. If the service is not called within a freely configurable time period (configuration parameter “RECONFIRMTIMEOUT”) after the start of the meeting, the booking is automatically canceled. The automatic booking termination applies only to the current booking, even if it was booked as part of a series booking in the eTASK.FM portal.
This frees up meeting rooms, which can then be used for other meetings. Additionally, it ensures that meeting room utilization statistics remain accurate.

Note: To call the web service, a developer or tester needs a user account registered in the FM portal.
