After entering the key details of a contract and specifying the contract value, the contract can be further broken down.
Note: A lease agreement value can be broken down into monthly contract values such as base rent, parking space fees, and contract amendments.
Prerequisites
The contract and the contract value have been created.
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Basic Data - Contract Management - Contract Values
Open the contract value form.
Go to the Contract Values Details section and click New.
Enter the contract value. Fill in the information for the Start Date, End Date, Description, and Net Amount [€] fields.
Note: You also have the option to specify a G/L account and cost center.
Click Save.
Then create the additional details by repeating steps 2 through 4.
Recommendation: The "Contract Values Details" section also calculates the total of these contract values. This total should match the contract value. You can also verify this using a report: "Contract Values vs. Detail Value Totals."
