Downloading and installing the Microsoft .NET 8 Hosting Bundle
Download the Hosting Bundle from the official Microsoft website:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0Select the "Windows Hosting Bundle (x64)" option and run the installation.
After successful installation, please restart the setup of the eTASK.FM portal.
You can easily update your eTASK system’s database using the eTASK.Updater. You can download this from your eTASK.Customer Center.
Prerequisite
You have the eTASK.Updater
Tip: Check the menu bar under System - Users Online to see which users are currently using the FM Portal. This way, you can inform these users that you are updating the FM Portal.
Procedure in the FM Portal

Note: The data backup strategy must be set up by the customer.
Download eTASK.Updater to the application server.
Double-click eTASK.Updater.
Follow the instructions of the update wizard.
In the "Portal Update" step, select the eTASK.FM portal you want to update. Check the "Database has been backed up" checkbox.

Note: The update takes place in several steps: Pre-update, Structure update, Configuration update, Post-update, and Customer-specific update.
Once the update is complete, a corresponding message will be displayed. Click Finish. The eTASK.FM portal will open in the application server’s default browser.

Your database is now up to date, and you can start working with your eTASK.FM portal.
