If you add custom attributes to your object types or assign new default values for custom attributes using matchcodes, and you already have existing object records assigned to the object type, you must update the custom attributes after making the changes. Otherwise, the new attributes or default values will not be applied to the objects.
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: System Control - Objects - Object Catalog - Object Types
Open the object type of the matchcode that you have changed.
In the toolbar, click Tools - Update Individual Attributes.
The individual attributes are transferred to the object type, matchcode, and object records.
