The room form is a central form of the FM portal. Rooms form the basis for your facility management with eTASK. They are used, for example, to enable space billing or to assign employees and objects to them. Rooms constitute the fourth and final level of the basic property structure consisting of location, building, floor, and room. They are generally assigned to a floor.

Special Features of the Room Form

The room form has a number of special features.

Only the room area entered here affects the areas of floors and buildings.
It is possible to assign multiple cost centers to a room at once. This allows you to allocate a specific portion of the room costs to one cost center and other portions to different cost centers.

Note: By design, the percentages are not checked to ensure they total 100%. Both larger and smaller percentages can be entered to maintain flexibility when assigning vacant space and area discrepancies.

A room is assigned a usage type in accordance with DIN 277-2, which enables a range of analyses. In addition, an internal usage type can also be assigned to the room.
