Unlike the Object Explorer, the Object Catalog organizes all objects by their object type.
The structure of the Object Catalog is based on the hierarchy of object types. The object types delivered by default with eTASK are also based on the structure of the cost groups defined in DIN 276. Technically, all objects are stored in the same object table. When objects are accessed via the Object Catalog, they represent a pre-filtered subset of the central object table.
Note: It is recommended to retain the hierarchy specified by eTASK.
