In the Property Explorer, your properties are listed by location.
When you click on a row in this column, the data record for the respective hierarchy level opens.
If you click on an activated magnifying glass in this column, the floor plan or building model for the respective hierarchy level opens.
Note: If you cannot see the required properties in the Property Explorer, this is most likely due to permission settings. In this case, contact your system administrator. 📄 Rechte auf Liegenschafts-/Objektexplorer vergeben IC2004
The Property Explorer is structured according to the following hierarchy:
optional hierarchy level 1
optional hierarchy level 2
Optional hierarchy level 3
Location
Building
Floor
Room
Workstation
Additional hierarchy levels can be defined above the location. These can be edited under System Settings - Portfolio (BIM) - Property Cadastre - Additional Hierarchies - Location.
These are taken into account in the Property Explorer, but only if all locations have the appropriate structures.
Example: If a location has a hierarchy level of 3, this is used as the top-level entry in the Property Explorer. Only entries that also have a hierarchy level of 3 are then displayed. All locations that do not have an entry for hierarchy level 3 are no longer displayed in the Explorer. When setting up a property structure, this means: If a location has an entry at hierarchy level 3, then all other locations must also have such an entry.
Note: The same rule also applies to hierarchy levels 2 and 1.
This does not apply to the optional levels that can be arranged between location, building, floor, and room—such as room group, building component, etc. These can be used selectively.
Display conditions
Display only works if the location has an entry at hierarchy level 3.
Display only works if the location has at least one building.
Display only works for users with the necessary permissions for the location.
Note: Deactivated records are not displayed in the Property Explorer. You can only view deactivated records via the Property Cadastre.
