Settlement scenario: Reduction of the allocation key for an operating cost type

There are certain cases in which two allocation keys must be offset against each other in order to correctly allocate an operating cost element. You can define deductions for the allocation keys of individual operating cost elements.

Differences from the standard scenario:

The operating cost element is distributed across fewer units during operating cost allocation.

You are familiar with the “Standard Allocation” allocation scenario

Path to the starting point: System Control - Property Management - Operating Cost Settlement - Operating Cost Settlement Profiles - Cost Types - Operating Cost Types per Building

Open the operating cost type for which two allocation keys are to be offset against each other.

In the Additional Parameters section, under the "Deduct" attribute, select the building allocation key with which the building allocation key selected in the "Building Allocation Key" attribute is to be offset.

Click Save in the toolbar.

The reduced allocation key is used in operating cost settlement.
