In addition to the name, code, and creation date, a group offers several other configuration options, which are explained below:
Company: Selecting a company for a group is not mandatory and is only required when using the eTASK.Maintenance product for the groups used there.
Administrator Group: If you assign the "Administrator Group" attribute to a group, the users assigned to it have access to all menu items, regardless of which menu items have been enabled.
Service Group: Service groups are used with eTASK.Serviceticket. This option activates the rights group as a service group for eTASK.Serviceticket.
Default Group: Every user has the rights defined in the default group. When a user logs in to the FM Portal for the first time, they immediately receive the rights defined here.
Automatic group: Automatic groups are overwritten with every update of the FM Portal, regardless of whether you, as a customer, have made changes to them, and are therefore not suitable for your individual group settings.
Users in this group: Here you can see which users are assigned to the currently open group and thus have access to the corresponding menu items. You can also assign additional users.
Rights to Menu and Forms: This is the most important setting option for a group. It displays all menu items and information areas in forms that a user in the group can access. The display includes the full path within the menu and indicates the assigned rights with “Yes” or “No.”
Rights to Property/Object Explorer: Here, you can restrict both Explorers for the current group to the view of specific buildings. This allows the Explorer to be used as a central tool for data access when a user should not see all CAD plans or objects, but only those at their own location.
Rights to Display Variants: In this section, you can specify the display variants that users in this group can select in the BIM Explorer.
Dashboard Tile Permissions: Here you can define which dashboard tiles members of the group are allowed to view.
Rights to trade groups: In this section, you can define rights to trade groups for users. The rights are then restricted to these trade groups.
