Administration groups are user groups that have unlimited access to all elements and functions in the FM Portal. Members of this group can also view and try out unlicensed products. In the unlicensed products, they can create a maximum of 5 records per table.
Note: If you want members of the administration group to see only licensed products—for example, to make the menu clearer—you can set the system parameter "SHOWUNLICENSEDSITEMAP" to the value "0". 📄 Konfigurationsparameter ändern IC1081
Procedure in the FM Portal
Path to the starting point: Control Panel - Portal Options - Rights Management - Groups and Rights
Open the record for the rights group you want to set up as an administration group.
Check the Administrators Group checkbox.
Click Save in the toolbar.
The rights group is now set up as an administrator group.
Note: Administrator groups cannot also be default groups.
