Serial bookings in eTASK.Outlook room booking

Within the eTASK FM portal, a recurring booking is broken down into individual bookings in the service list. These are treated as separate entries. As a result, it is not possible to retroactively update the comment for all appointments in the series, and these appointments must be deleted individually.

However, this also offers advantages during the booking process within the eTASK system:

  • In the detailed booking, individual appointments can be adjusted within the same booking screen.

  • Also in the detailed booking: During the booking process for a series of appointments, any appointments can be deleted.

  • It is possible to manually exclude holidays/long weekends within the same booking.

  • In custom booking, rooms can be booked at different times on any days.

  • For a series of appointments that must be distributed across multiple rooms due to availability, these rooms can be booked directly one after another in the filter screen.

This flexible booking logic thus offers advantages during the booking process.

Appointments on a holiday must be canceled individually in a separate step.

Public holidays by state are taken into account. You can set whether a room is bookable on weekends or public holidays. However, appointments on a public holiday can also be excluded directly during the booking process itself.

The appointments in the series must be moved individually and retrospectively to a different time.

Appointments in the series can be rescheduled individually to a different time during booking.

Outlook allows for 20% conflicts during recurring bookings.

eTASK does not allow any conflicts during recurring bookings.
