This group contains search criteria for targeted filtering of room occupancy and associated cost centers. The characteristics enable efficient narrowing down of the data records according to relevant attributes.
PropertyDescription
Room designationThe descriptive name of the room (e.g. "meeting room", "marketing office", "server room"). This designation describes the function or use of the room.
Room numberThe room number as indicated on the signage on site (e.g. "1.23", "A-012"). This number is used for physical orientation in the building.
Cost centerThe cost center code of the employee to whom this room or workstation is assigned. The cost center is used to allocate room and space costs in Controlling.
Number of workstationsThe total number of workstations in this room. This key figure is important for occupancy analyses and the calculation of space ratios (e.g. square meters per workstation).
Cost center designationThe full name of the cost center for better readability. Together with the cost centre code, you receive a unique identification of the cost-bearing organizational unit.
SalutationThe salutation of the employee (e.g. "Mr.", "Mrs.", "Divers"). This field helps you to address employees correctly in correspondence and reports.
SurnameThe surname of the employee assigned to this room or workstation. Together with the first name, you receive the complete identification of the person.
First nameThe first name of the employee for unique personal identification. This field supplements the surname for a complete name.
LocationThe location where the room is located. The location is the top geographical level in the space hierarchy (location > building > floor > room).
BuildingThe building in which the room is located. Buildings are arranged below the location and above the floors in the space hierarchy.
FloorThe floor or storey on which the room is located (e.g. "EG", "1. OG", "UG"). The floor is the level between the building and the room in the area hierarchy.
Room codeThe unique room code for the technical identification of the room. This code is often used in plans, signage and IT systems.
Type of useThe type of use of the room in accordance with DIN 277 (e.g. "Office room", "Meeting room", "Storage"). The type of use is relevant for area calculations and cost allocations.
WorkplaceThe name or number of the specific workstation within the room (e.g. "AP-01", "window seat"). A room can contain several workstations.
DepartmentThe organizational department to which the employee is assigned (e.g. "IT", "Marketing", "Sales"). The department supplements the cost centre information for organizational evaluations.
ClientThe client ID for filtering data in multi-client systems. If client separation is not activated, you will see the value "1" (main client) here by default. If client separation is activated, you can filter by specific clients.
