Form for requesting the restoration of a specific database backup. ATTENTION: When the restore is carried out, the current database is overwritten with the content of the selected database backup.
Identification
In this info area you will find information that can be used to identify the data record. This is usually the code and the name, together with other important information.| Property | Description |
| Database server | Data record ID of the database server on which the database is running |
| Neutralize emails | executes the neutralization script, which deletes emails from the database so that emails are not accidentally sent to the wrong recipients (of the source database) |
| Delete Exchange connection | deletes the connection to the Exchange server to prevent emails from being sent to the Exchange of the previous database |
| Overwrite existing database? | Whether the database should be overwritten if it exists |
| Delete all documents | deletes all documents so as not to store customer data in another database |
| Request by | Name of the employee who wants to restore the database. |
| Note | Note on the database restore job. |
| Client | Id of the source application of the client from which the database backup originates |
| Target client | ⚠️ This property will be removed in one of the next releases. Please do not use it anymore. Target client on which the database backup is to be imported |
| Internal ID (Data ID) | The internal ID, or data ID, is used within the application to uniquely identify the data record. |
DBController
The control extends the form so that you can easily set the correct database backup for a restore. The control ensures that you can only select the database backups that are available for the database of the source client and sorts them downwards by time (incl. time).Restoration
