February 2016 Release
There are no special notes for this release.
eTASK Payment Transactions
Improvement: Scroll bar for password entry in account batch processing
A scroll bar has been added for password entry in the account batch call, so that passwords can be entered for each account even when there are a large number of accounts in the batch call.
eTASK FM Procurement
Improvement: New favorites for contract service items in the service confirmation for order items
In the dialog for service confirmation, favorites can now be set for contract service items. This allows the user to quickly access frequently used items.
eTASK Cost Entry
Bug fix: Correct calculation of the invoice total for outgoing invoices when partial services are modified in the portal
After changing or deleting a partial service in the portal, the invoice total of the outgoing invoice was not calculated correctly. The calculation has been corrected.
Improvement: Transfer of cash discount from the outgoing invoice to the partial service in the portal
When creating a partial service, the discount is now also transferred from the specifications of the outgoing invoice in the portal.
Improvement: Performance improvement for payment allocation in large datasets
Manual payment assignment could lead to performance issues and, in exceptional cases, cause the program to crash for customer projects with large datasets. Optimizations to the posting journal now result in better performance even with large datasets.
eTASK Media Supply / Energy
Bug fix: Error message when importing meter readings for the same meter on the same day
Repeatedly importing meter readings for the same meter on the same day resulted in the following error message: "Error due to division by zero." The error has been fixed. You can now import as many meter readings as you like for a single meter on the same day.
eTASK Maintenance
Bug Fix: Missing Information on Client, Contractor, and Performer in Escalation Emails
In the automatically generated escalation emails, information regarding the client, contractor, and executor was not displayed, or was only displayed if the executor was specified. The error has been fixed. Information regarding the client, contractor, and executor is now displayed in the same manner as in other maintenance status emails.
eTASK Room Reservation
Improvement: Room reservation now catches errors during automatic email sending
Completing a room reservation with custom beverages via Quick Booking or the Booking Assistant resulted in an error page after clicking the "Save and Complete" button if the confirmation email could not be sent successfully. If sending an email is not possible (e.g., because the email address provided for the person is incorrect), this is now handled by the system, and the booking can still be completed without any issues. If available, the error message regarding the unsuccessful email delivery is also displayed.
eTASK FM Portal
Bug Fix: Incorrect Error Message in the Workflow When Using Firefox
When using the Firefox browser, a dialog with the error message "Request Failure" was displayed for a brief moment at every workflow step change, without affecting the workflow itself. The incorrect error message has been removed.
Bug Fixes
Correction of various minor errors and optimizations in various eTASK products.
Bug Fix: Correct Values for Planned Budgets in Budget Items/Measures
In the "Budget Items/Measures" list within a "Budget Project," under certain conditions, the "Planned Budget [€, net]" column displayed the value "0.00" for all "Budget Items/Measures" planned for the same year, even though corresponding values were stored. The underlying calculation has now been expanded to include additional options, ensuring that the values are displayed correctly.
Improvement: Unnecessary question about backing up the portal removed from the Updater
The query "Has the portal been backed up?" has been removed from the Updater, as backing up the portal before an update is now unnecessary.
Highlight: Personalized display of tickets in the service list
The settings for displaying tickets in the service list can now be configured directly and personalized by the user. The settings made by the user are saved, so that the display remains unchanged even after logging out and back in. The user can also change their display settings at any time. This applies to the selection of the "Task Type" (e.g., "Assigned by Me"), the "Display Period" (e.g., "Overdue and Today"), and the "Service Status," as well as the selection of the "Service Types" to be displayed.
Highlight: New "traffic light display" available for all view reports
For View reports in eTASK, a new feature is now available to display data records using the "traffic light principle." A traffic light is displayed in each row. The meaning of the traffic light color can be defined individually for each View and, depending on the View’s content, can indicate, for example, a processing status, missed deadlines, missing data, etc. The traffic light conditions—i.e., when a list entry is displayed in which traffic light color—are defined individually for each view. With a view set up in this way, you can immediately see at a glance the processing status of the records/tasks. The view thus becomes your personal to-do list. What’s next? In one of the upcoming releases, it will be possible to filter the view by individual and combined traffic light colors (e.g., show me all tasks with the status “red” and “yellow”). In addition, we will offer you the option to have the view display, in addition to the traffic light color, what specifically needs to be done to reach the next traffic light color (i.e., from "red" to "yellow" and from "yellow" to "green"). How do I get my traffic light view? The technology for displaying views with traffic lights is automatically available to you with this release. If you are interested in using the technology for specific views, please contact your eTASK representative or eTASK Sales.
eTASK Key Management
New Feature: New View Report Shows Which Rooms/Doors Have Access
The "Access Overview Key Group" view report displays, in various combinations of room, door, key group, and person, which rooms a specific key group grants access to, or which rooms/doors an employee has access to if they possess a key from a specific key group. The view report allows direct access to data maintenance.
