January 2019 Release
This release has been approved by eTASK for use in production environments. You can download the release now and install it on your server. Since the release contents are still being edited, the release changelog is currently empty. You will be able to access the changelog once the editorial review is complete and the changelog has been approved. You will be automatically notified via email once the changelog is approved, provided you are registered with eTASK as a recipient of release notifications.
Important Note for Users of eTASK.PropertyManagement, eTASK.Rental, eTASK.CostRecording, and eTASK.OperatingCosts
As announced in the GoBD workshop, this release is only suitable for customers who have already completed the migration from the eTASK.FM client to the eTASK.FM portal. If you have not yet completed this migration, please refrain from installing this update.
Important note for users of the eTASK app for Windows
With the release of this update, a current version of the eTASK app has also been released in the Microsoft Store. Please note that this current app version is compatible exclusively with the current release version of the portal; that is, both the portal AND all connected mobile devices must be updated.
The latest version 2.7.488.43409 of the eTASK app will be available in the Microsoft Store starting January 12, 2019.
Therefore, please update your mobile devices only if you also plan to update your portal to the latest release at the same time. If this is not desired or possible, please disable the automatic installation of updates for the eTASK app on your devices. Please note, however, that after a previous update to your portal, you must subsequently update your devices to the latest app version as well.
Please make sure to sync your mobile devices before the update.
Important Note for Users of the eTASK App for Autodesk Revit
With the release of this update, a current version of the eTASK app for Autodesk Revit has also been published in the download section of the Customer Center. Please note that BIM models can only be published using the latest version of the app. Please update your app in a timely manner.
Expanded HSE organization with coordinator level
New feature: Automatic updating of HSE areas of responsibility
A new timer job now updates an HSE officer’s areas of responsibility overnight if changes have occurred. For example, if the officer moves from the first to the second floor as part of the relocation workflow, their area of responsibility is automatically changed from FL01 to FL02. Conversely, additional areas of responsibility will not be removed.
eTASK.Payment Transactions
Improvement: Change bank details between invoice approval and payment
It is now possible to change the payee’s bank details between the invoice approval and payment steps.
Improvement: Better overview in the account statement report
For a clearer overview, accounts are marked with a red dot if the opening balance and transactions do not match the closing balance.
eTASK.Expense Tracking
New feature: Correct display of closed incoming invoices during transfer
An incoming invoice written off via a transfer is now also displayed as settled in the OPOS list and in the overview of rent payments made.
Improvement: Dunning hold is automatically removed upon transfer or payment of an outgoing invoice
If a payment hold was set for an invoice and that invoice is paid or transferred, the payment hold is now automatically removed so it does not appear in the overview.
Improvement: Quick document approval for recurring invoices
For recurring invoices, you can now choose whether the individual documents generated are approved immediately or must go through the approval workflow again.
Improvement: Expansion of the “Monthly Cash Flows by Company and Customer” report
The “Monthly Cash Flows by Company and Customer” report now displays balances for the month and the year.
eTASK.Rental
New feature: Changing the contract type for existing contracts
The contract type (index, graduated, and standard contract) can now be changed even during ongoing operations. When the change is made, a new period is created. This allows, for example, addenda to be easily mapped within the existing contract.
Improvement: Overall adjustment of rent for rooms/parking spaces upon changes
The rent is now adjusted globally for all rooms and parking spaces when changes are made.
Improvement: Filtering rental contracts by “terminated”
In the list of lease agreements, you can now filter not only by contracts with the status “active” or “terminated” but also by contracts with the status “terminated.” Since the “terminated” status is automatically set by the system as soon as a termination date is reached, this selection was previously not possible in the list.
eTASK.FM Portal
Bug fix: Correct display of umlauts in the data record archive
The incorrect display of umlauts in the data record archive has been fixed.
Bug fix: Entering comments on data records
Under certain conditions, users were unable to create comments on data records. This is now possible again for all users with the appropriate permissions.
Improvement: Optimizations in form navigation
The currently active form is now highlighted in color in the table tab, so that even when multiple forms are open, you always know which form you are in. In the sections, the entire "gray header bar" has been made clickable. A section can thus be opened and closed with a simple click anywhere on the gray bar.
Improvement: "Master List of People and Rooms" expanded to include cost centers
Cost center information has now been added to the "Master List of People and Rooms." The master list combines comprehensive information on people and spaces in a central table and primarily serves as a basis for data exports based on any filter criteria (e.g., for further processing in Excel). You can find the master list in the menu under "Portfolio (BIM) - Property Cadastre - Reports".
Improvement: Use of the Tab Key in Forms
In the portal’s forms, you can now use the Tab key to move from one field to the next, allowing you to navigate through the form without using the mouse.
Improvement: Disabling the "Back" arrow in the respective browser
Clicking the "Back" arrow in the browser no longer affects the eTASK Portal. If the user accidentally clicks the arrow, they remain in the portal.
