September 2018 Release

This release has been approved by eTASK for use in production environments. You can download the release immediately and install it on your server. Please read the following notes carefully before installation:

Important Note for Users of eTASK.PropertyManagement, eTASK.Rental, eTASK.CostRecording, and eTASK.OperatingCosts

As announced in the GoBD workshop, this release is only suitable for customers who have already completed the migration from the eTASK.FM client to the eTASK.FM portal. If you have not yet completed this migration, please refrain from installing this update.

Important notice for users of the eTASK app for Windows

With the release of this update, a current version of the eTASK app has also been released in the Microsoft Store. Please note that this current app version is compatible exclusively with the current release version of the portal, meaning that both the portal AND all connected mobile devices must be updated.

The latest version 2.7.488.43409 of the eTASK app will be available in the Microsoft Store starting September 2, 2018.

Therefore, please update your mobile devices only if you also plan to update your portal to the latest release at the same time. If this is not desired or possible, please disable the automatic installation of updates for the eTASK app on your devices. Please note, however, that after updating your portal, you must subsequently update your devices to the latest app version as well.

Please make sure to sync your mobile devices before the update.

eTASK.BIM

Improvement: Optimized display of stamp texts in models

The alignment of stamp texts in BIM models has been optimized so that horizontal stamp texts are now displayed exclusively horizontally and vertical texts are rotated by 90°. By limiting the display to two angles, vertical texts at two opposite workstations, for example, are no longer displayed as mirror images of each other. The stamp height has also been moved to the "section plane" in the 2D view, so that stamps generally appear above the components and are not covered by components that extend beyond the stamp.

eTASK.MyApp/Inventory

Highlight: Bulk scanning with RFID in the eTASK app

With the latest version of the eTASK Inventory app, it is now also possible to perform a bulk scan of objects if they are equipped with RFID tags and a Bluetooth-enabled RFID scanner is used. During a bulk scan, up to 74 objects can be scanned simultaneously. If one of the scanned objects is not yet known to the app, the scanning process is automatically interrupted and the object can be created first.

eTASK.Payment Transactions

Bug Fix: Re-transfer Possible After Incorrect PIN Entry

If an incorrect PIN for a bank account was entered while executing a transfer in payment transactions, payments from that bank account were correctly not executed. However, since the "Transferred on" date had been set, the payment could not be made again either. This error has been fixed.

Improvement: Ensuring the BIC for transactions with foreign bank accounts

To prevent errors in payment transactions when a transaction is to be made to a foreign bank account but no BIC is stored for that account, the "Vendor and Customer Bank Accounts" feature in eTASK has been expanded to include a BIC check for foreign IBANs.

eTASK.FM Procurement

Bug fix: Matching gross totals on the settlement sheet

The calculation of gross totals has been adjusted to 4 decimal places to prevent visible rounding errors. As a result, the gross totals on the settlement sheet now match.

Bug fix: Alignment of text lengths for order text and email subject lines of orders

Entering longer character strings in the "Order Text / Commission" field of an FM order resulted in an error message when creating the order. The reason for this was a discrepancy between the possible length of 255 characters for the order text and a different limit of 50 characters for the email subject line. The order text is automatically used as the email subject when the order is saved. If the order text is longer than the 50 characters allowed in the email subject, the order text is now automatically truncated and supplemented with “[…]” in the email subject.

Improvement: Expansion of the "Order Status" view report

The view report has been expanded to include the columns Order Number, Ticket Number, Order Text, Comment, and Current Status.

eTASK.Operating Cost Accounting

Bug fix: Identical cost types in the invoice form and invoice printout

The invoice form now also displays the cost types to which direct costs are assigned. As a result, the content of the invoice form view exactly matches the corresponding report printout of the operating cost statement.

eTASK.Cost Entry

New feature: Deleting previously saved transfers is now possible

Since saving a transfer immediately triggers the workflow, deleting the transfer using the form’s standard delete function is no longer possible. A special cancel button has now been added under “Extras” in the form, which can be used to delete a previously saved transfer.

Bug fix: Correct invoice values after a reversed transfer

If the transfer posting for an invoice is canceled (but not the invoice itself), this invoice is now displayed unchanged in payment transactions as an open item with the original invoice amount. Previously, the double amount was displayed here due to a calculation error.

Bug fix: Partial duplication of master data when creating an incoming invoice via the inbox

When creating an incoming invoice via the inbox, entering the company in the entry screen resulted in the company, the vendor, and the bank details being created twice. The error has been fixed. All three data records are now created only once.

Improvement: Accommodation of the requirements for tax liability

Under the VAT Act, in the case of tax liability based on agreed remuneration, the tax becomes due at the end of the advance return period in which the delivery or other service was performed. This means that it is not the invoicing or payment of the invoice that influences the reporting period, but rather the month in which the service was rendered. An exception applies to advance payments. To meet the requirements of accrual-based taxation, the "service date" is now set as the "posting date" by default in eTASK. In the case of cash-based taxation, this can also be changed to the invoice date.

eTASK.Rental

New Feature: New Report "Vacancy From to"

With the new report, you can analyze vacancy rates for a specific period. It lists the rooms that were vacant throughout the entire period (vacancy management).

Bug fix: Assigning rooms to lease agreements when a factor occurs multiple times

Due to a recurring factor, it was not possible to add rooms to rental agreements under certain conditions. The error has been fixed.

Bug fix: Correction of the calculation in the "Available Rooms [from] [to]" report

The report now displays the rooms that are available during the selected period.

Improvement: Create a debit position for all companies

The debit position can now be created directly for all companies, rather than just for one company at a time as before. This update also includes the option to create a debit position of €0 for a building if, for example, no rent is being debited due to a major renovation.

eTASK.Media Supply / Energy

New feature: Importing meter readings in the portal

The import of meter readings from a file for multiple meters simultaneously is now available in the portal. The meter readings to be imported can be checked for data consistency prior to import to ensure that no incorrect data is imported. Additionally, the import of meter readings can also be undone. You can find the "Meter Import" feature in the menu under "Technical Building Management - Energy Consumption Billing - Import Meter Readings."

eTASK.FM Portal

New Feature: Inclusion of Column Filters in User-Defined Views

The "Save/Create Views..." function now also saves the column filters used by the user. The "Save/Create Views..." function is available in all lists and allows the user to configure the list according to their needs. The user can then save the view configured in this way as their default view of the list or as an additional custom view.
