June 2018 Release

This release has been approved by eTASK for use in production environments. You can download the release now and install it on your server.

Please read the following notes carefully before installation:

Important Note for Users of eTASK PropertyManagement, eTASK Rental, eTASK Cost Entry, and eTASK Operating Costs

As announced in the GoBD workshop, this release is only suitable for customers who have already completed the migration from the eTASK.FM client to the eTASK.FM portal. If you have not yet completed this migration, please refrain from installing this update.

eTASK Demand Planning

Improvement: Automatically generate room book from planning variant

From a planning variant in demand planning, the room book—including the necessary structure (location-building-floor-room)—can now be generated automatically. By clicking the "Transfer room list to existing rooms" function, the corresponding structures are created directly in the Property Explorer.

eTASK Utilities / Energy

New Feature: Portalization of Utilities/Energy: Energy Consumption Billing in the Portal

With this release, significant parts of the "Utilities/Energy" module have already been transferred from the FM Client to the eTASK Portal. In addition to meter management, tenant and cost center invoices are now also available in the portal. The complete transfer of functions in the Utilities/Energy area to the portal will be completed shortly.

Bug Fix: Creating New Meters

New meters can now be created as usual again. The error that occurred during creation has been fixed.

Improvement: Meter reading entry available in the portal

Importing meter reading lists and manually entering meter readings are now possible in the eTASK Portal.

eTASK FM Portal

New feature: "Share link with other users, including filters"

When sharing links to a search (list), you can now also send the filters applied to the list. When the recipient of the link opens the shared list, they will see exactly the same list view that was previously generated by the sender. This feature is currently available only to administrators for testing purposes, but will soon be made available to all portal users.

Bug fixes

Correction of various minor bugs and optimizations in various eTASK products.

Improvement: Ensuring data quality with "Data Controlling"

Data controlling in eTASK is an efficient tool for automatically evaluating the quality of data entered or imported into the portal (e.g., via the import of a BIM model). Using customizable "data profiles," you can define which information you need in a specific data area and automatically check this for the entire dataset. For example, if you need information on the type of use and flooring for all rooms, you can use Data Controlling to immediately check the entire dataset to see if this information is available. With this release, Data Controlling has been expanded to include the ability to verify the quality of individual attributes. Using a corresponding data profile, you can, for example, specify that a document of the type "Component Approval" must always be available for an object of the type "Fire Damper." This allows you to define the "Level of Technical Documentation" (LOTD) for all components and automatically evaluate the quality of data, for example, data captured by external service providers or extracted from a BIM model. We would be happy to assist you in using Data Controlling for your real estate portfolio. Please contact your eTASK representative for further information.

eTASK Inventory

New Feature: New Item Catalog, e.g., for employees to order furniture

Inventory now includes a new report called the "Item Catalog," which, similar to the Match Code Book, lists available match codes. Unlike the Match Code Book, however, it takes the form of an order catalog with information on the supplier, price, and validity, allowing employees, for example, to order furniture based on the Item Catalog.
