November 2025 Release Hotfix 2


With Hotfix 2 for the November 2025 release, we are providing you with a revised update that replaces the previously released Hotfix 1.

Hotfix 1 was removed from the Customer Center several weeks ago as a precautionary measure to avoid any potential impact on you. In addition to the revised adjustments from Hotfix 1, the now-available Hotfix 2 includes further bug fixes and minor improvements that we have implemented based on our internal testing and feedback received.

To further improve the quality of the release, the testing procedure for releases has been enhanced and expanded with the goal of providing you with a reliable update.

For the sake of transparency, we have continued to document all changes from the original Hotfix 1 in this change log. These entries are marked with the note “(Hotfix 1)” and can thus be clearly distinguished from the new adjustments.

Hotfix 2 is particularly relevant for you if you:

  • use eTASK.Payment Transactions and require current adjustments regarding distributed signatures

  • use eTASK.SmartReservation and have recently encountered restrictions when making reservations via Outlook

  • use the substitute function in eTASK.Desk-Sharing



eTASK.SmartReportViewer

Bug Fix: Error Message in Smart Report Viewer (Hotfix 1)

A bug has been fixed that caused the Smart Report Viewer to display a message about missing permissions in certain scenarios when the logged-in user was a system administrator.


eTASK.DeskSharing

Bug fix: Successor list in DeskSharing

A bug has been fixed that prevented the button from appearing that allows users to sign up for the waiting list in Desk Sharing.


eTASK.BIM

New Feature: eTASK Add-in for Revit 2025 and 2026 Available

The eTASK add-in for Revit is now also available for program versions 2025 and 2026.

Bug fix: PDF export from BIM Explorer (Hotfix 1)

PDF export from the BIM Explorer was displaying an error message with the November 2025 release. Export now works as usual again.


eTASK.Payment Transactions

Bug fix: Bulk transfers are sent as individual transfers (Hotfix 1)

Occasionally, batch transfers in eTASK Payment Transactions would create a single batch per invoice, causing the bank to process them as individual transfers. This behavior has been resolved.

Improvement: Account holder now included in the report

The report of all payments for a given payment run, which is available during the payment run, has been updated to display the account holder’s name, which is used for reconciliation alongside the IBAN.

Improvement: EBICS and SEPA components updated to the latest version

To meet the latest requirements for bank communication, an update to the latest version of EBICS and SEPA has been performed.


eTASK.Outlook room booking

Bug fix: Outlook Add-In

After updating to Hotfix 1, issues arose with the use of the Outlook add-in. These have been resolved.

Bug fix: Display of menu items in rights management corrected

In the rights management section, some menu items were displayed for which no license was available. These are now correctly hidden.


eTASK.Vehicle Booking

Bug fix: Terms of Use for Vehicle Booking (Hotfix 1)

The terms of use in vehicle booking are now always opened in a new browser tab and no longer in a portal tab. This makes it easier to handle documents stored on restrictively configured pages.


eTASK.Operating Cost Settlement

Bug Fix: Operating Cost Settlement - DATEV Rounding Error

A problem has been fixed that could cause rounding differences when exporting operating cost statements to DATEV.


eTASK.Cost Entry

eTASK.Utilities / Energy

Bug fix: Utility meters: Losses in meter readings

The calculation of meter groups has been updated so that losses are no longer displayed as empty values.


eTASK.CAD

New Feature: Smart Visualization allows floor plans to be accessed from a list

The new Smart Visualization feature allows you to open floor plans in eTASK.CAD and eTASK.BIM from a list. The feature will be gradually integrated into additional lists, but is already available for the room list. A new button (magnifying glass) appears in the bar at the bottom. Clicking it opens a dialog box. This allows you to open one or more floor plans and highlights the elements from the list in the floor plans.

Bug fix: Improvements made to the display and use of hatching in the CAD viewer

The selection of different views in the CAD viewer is now sorted alphabetically. If a view includes hatching, it is no longer displayed as solid black.

Improvement: Floor plans centered in the PDF plan

When floor plans are exported as PDFs, they are now centered on the page. The space reserved on the right side for the legend has been freed up; the legend is now displayed on a separate page.

Improvement: Simplified access to deep links for rooms in CAD floor plans

Accessing deep links for CAD floor plans has been simplified. eTASK.ServiceTicket

Bug fix: Comment function revised

Comments can now be created again even if they contain line breaks or were copied from an email or Word document, including HTML formatting.

Bug fix: Service report in the service ticket is generated again

The service report in the service ticket was no longer accessible. The report has been updated to work again with the latest eTASK versions.

Improvement: Service Ticket - Function for deviating information revised

When creating a service ticket, you can enter different details instead of the data stored for the person. The different details have been expanded so that outdoor areas can also be selected. Additionally, the selections for room and outdoor area are now building-dependent. If no different building has been selected, both refer to the applicant’s building. If this is also not available, no different room or outdoor area can be selected. In order for an outdoor area to be selected, it must have the “belongs to building” field populated.


eTASK.Room Reservation

Bug fix: Display of location data in room overview corrected

When displaying location data within the room overview of the various booking screens, a display issue occurred if the room number contained a hyphen "-". This has been corrected so that the display functions regardless of the format of the room numbers and room codes.


eTASK.FM Portal

New feature: API expanded

The eTASK API now also provides endpoints for "Usage Types according to DIN 277" and "Cost Centers in Rooms."

Bug fix: Fixed an error in the end-of-session notification

An error has been fixed whereby, in some cases, simply confirming the information window at the end of a session was sufficient to log back in.

Bug fix: Unknown dynamic attributes in Excel import (Hotfix 1)

A behavior has been changed whereby Excel import templates could be used that contained a dynamic attribute unknown to the target portal. Such a file is now rejected with the corresponding message.

Bug fix: Truncated codes for parking spaces (Hotfix 1)

The automatically generated codes for parking spaces now use the full location code and no longer truncate it to the first 10 characters.

Bug Fix: Client Downloads (Hotfix 1)

The page added with this release for downloading client applications could result in an error during the download if the client version was not properly registered. This has been fixed.

Bug Fix: Resubmission After Contract Extension (Hotfix 1)

An unintended change occurred with the modification to the date calculation for contracts. When a contract was extended, a follow-up date was automatically set 14 days before the end of the notice period. This overrode existing entries for the follow-up. The function now no longer sets a follow-up date, as intended. Are you familiar with contract events? These offer a follow-up function with history and documentation.

Bug Fix: Monthly Overview of Rent Invoices Now Available

An error has been fixed that prevented the "Monthly Overview of Rent Debits" report from opening.

Bug fix: Error when exporting from favorites lists fixed

An error has been fixed that could cause problems when exporting custom views of a list if that list was saved as a favorite and loaded from the favorites.

Bug fix: Corrected permission assignment for custom reports

In the meantime, all users in the portal were able to create custom reports without explicit permissions being assigned. This behavior first occurred with the November 2025 Hotfix 1 release and affects custom reports of the tree view type that are configured in the main menu. This bug has been fixed.

Bug Fix: No More Empty Entries Created in the Personnel List

A bug has been fixed that caused a new, empty personnel record to be created when attempting to log in with an unknown username. This record lacked the necessary data to log in. At no time was there a risk that these records could compromise access to the portal.

Bug Fix: Sample Report for Door Signs - QR Code Output (Hotfix 1)

An error related to the sample report for door signs "Door Sign Basic" has been fixed; previously, the generated QR code always pointed to the eTASK development system.

Bug Fix: Fixed an error when opening forms

An error has been fixed that prevented forms with a Checkbox Connect, e.g., the personnel form, from opening.

Improvement: Interaction of timer jobs revised

A number of timer jobs in eTASK are configured to run once after an update. This has been reorganized to reduce job overlaps and ensure the portal restarts more smoothly after an update.

Improvement: Work carried out to improve loading times

Various improvements have been made to speed up the loading of forms and filtering in lists.

Improvement: Workflow deployment (Hotfix 1)

To make the setup of workflows easier and more transparent for you, each role assignment now includes a "Dynamic Role Assignment" checkbox that indicates whether you need to assign this role yourself or whether the assignment is based on the data in question. Thank you very much for this simple and effective suggestion!


eTASK.Inventory

Improvement: eTASK.Inventory app improved

The app has been updated to allow scanning via the device camera in the room list as well. Additionally, in the app settings, you can choose whether scanning an object should take you to the object itself or to the object’s room.
