November 2019 Release

This release has been approved by eTASK for use in production environments. You can download the release now and install it on your server.

Important Note for Users of eTASK.PropertyManagement, eTASK.Rental, eTASK.CostRecording, and eTASK.OperatingCosts

As announced in the GoBD workshop, this release is only suitable for customers who have already completed the migration from the eTASK.FM client to the eTASK.FM portal. If you have not yet completed this migration, please refrain from installing this update.

Important notice for users of the eTASK app for Autodesk Revit

With the release of this update, a current version of the eTASK App for Autodesk Revit has also been made available in the download section of the Customer Center. Please note that BIM models can only be published using the latest version of the app. Please update your app in a timely manner.

Users of Revit version 19 require a hotfix to Revit 2019.2, regardless of the eTASK app.

Important Note for Users of the eTASK App for Windows

With the release of this update, a current version of the eTASK App has also been released in the Microsoft Store. Please note that this current app version is compatible exclusively with the current release version of the portal; that is, both the portal AND all connected mobile devices must be updated.

The latest version 2019.4.517.48120 of the eTASK app will be available in the Microsoft Store starting November 16, 2019.

Therefore, please update your mobile devices only if you also plan to update your portal to the latest release at the same time. If this is not desired or possible, please disable the automatic installation of updates for the eTASK app on your devices. Please note, however, that after updating your portal, you must subsequently update your devices to the latest app version as well.

Please make sure to sync your mobile devices before the update.

eTASK.API

New Feature: Use of Centralized Substitution Rules in eTASK Workflows

Substitutions for employees in the event of illness or vacation are generally managed centrally, as they can affect a variety of systems in which the employee performs roles/tasks. The eTASK API now offers the ability to synchronize central substitution rules from third-party sources, such as SAP, and to use the substitutes stored there for role assignment in eTASK workflows.

eTASK.BIM

New Feature: Mapping Supports the Transfer of Properties to Individual Object Attributes

BIM information management in eTASK has been expanded in the area of objects. This allows the properties of the IFC model to be specifically saved as individual object attributes as part of dynamic mapping from a model.

Improvement: New version of the eTASK app for REVIT 2019.2

The app now also supports the latest versions of Autodesk IFC Export and Revit 2019.2. Among other things, object processing has been optimized and accelerated. Additionally, minor bugs have been fixed.

eTASK.Payment Transactions

New feature: Support for SEPA Format 3.0

Starting with this version, eTASK supports SEPA 3.0 for all payment transactions.

With SEPA 3.0, in addition to the business-to-business (B2B) direct debit, there is now only one SEPA direct debit procedure (CORE). The SEPA Express Direct Debit (COR1) is being phased out—CORE takes over the functions of COR1. Furthermore, the previous lead time of two or five banking business days is reduced to one day. This applies to the entire SEPA area. Another simplification is that SEPA 3.0 no longer distinguishes between initial and subsequent direct debits.

Workflow for GoBD-compliant invoice approval

Improvement: More efficient processing of documents from standing orders

Documents from standing orders are now handled more specifically in the approval workflow. All documents are forwarded directly to the approver at a minimum. If direct approval is specified in the standing order, the document is immediately transferred to payment.

eTASK.Cost Entry

Bug fix: Assignment of payments to outgoing invoices

In rare cases, not all possible invoices were displayed when assigning payments to outgoing invoices. The selection has been expanded accordingly so that all invoices available for assignment are now displayed.

Improvement: Cash discount deduction for incoming invoices even after the deadline has passed

The cash discount deduction for incoming invoices has been made more user-friendly. It is now also possible to settle an invoice with a cash discount deduction even if the cash discount period has actually already expired.

Improvement: Sorting of payment dates in scheduled invoices

The "Scheduled Invoices" for a recurring invoice are now sorted by payment dates in the print output and no longer chronologically by the creation date of the record. This allows "Scheduled Invoices" to be created in any chronological order. For sorting in the print output, only the payment date of the scheduled invoice is taken into account.

eTASK.Maintenance

Improvement: Operator concept enables order planning at the site level

From an operator concept, order plans can now be generated not only by building but also grouped by location. This enables optimized planning and tendering of tasks to fulfill operator obligations, particularly for large building portfolios.

eTASK.FM Portal

New feature: CAFM-Connect export for building portfolios expanded

eTASK now supports the export of CAFM-Connect files not only based on the site and the building, but also from the three optional hierarchy levels above the site. In each case, you can choose whether to create a single file for all buildings or a separate file for each building. Additionally, you can specify whether only the room book or also the systems are exported. With this feature, eTASK offers increased convenience when using CAFM-Connect in large building portfolios.

Bug Fix: Correction to Excel Data Import

In some cases when importing via "Excel Data Import," the loading of the import file was interrupted by a system error. The cause has been resolved.

Improvement: Improved building selection in rights groups

The selection of buildings in rights groups has been completely redesigned. The new hierarchical selection enables easy assignment even for complex property structures.

Highlight: Workflows now save automatically when switching

When switching a workflow to the next step, the form is now always saved automatically. Previously, the form had to be saved after editing before the step could be switched. From now on, saving occurs automatically in the background and is no longer required by the user.

Highlight: Prominent display of workflow buttons in the form

Switching a workflow to the next step no longer requires using the "Workflow" command in the form’s toolbar. The switching options are now prominently displayed to the user as buttons directly within the form. Clicking the button switches the workflow directly to the respective step. For each workflow, you can flexibly specify whether the buttons are displayed in the header area of the workflow and/or at the end, or at any other location within the workflow.

eTASK.Inventory

Bug Fix: Creating New Objects via the App

Under certain circumstances, objects newly created via the app were not transferred to the portal and were therefore also deleted from the app after the next synchronization. The issue has been resolved. Please note that to resolve this issue, you must also install the latest app version on your devices.
