This release has been approved by eTASK for use in production environments. You can download the release now and install it on your server. Since the release contents are still being edited, the changelog for this release is currently empty. You will be able to access the changelog once the editorial review is complete and the changelog has been approved. You will be automatically notified via email once the changelog is approved, provided you are registered with eTASK as a recipient of release notifications.
eTASK.BIM
New Feature: Flexible Display of the BIM Model Based on the Point of Access
It is now also possible to configure different drawing links in the BIM Explorer visualization that open a BIM model in a defined view, depending on where in eTASK the magnifying glass was clicked. For example, if a building’s model is opened via the magnifying glass in the Property Explorer, the view may display only the architecture, whereas the same building, when accessed via the Room Web Form, will display the furnishings and room occupancy layout. The visualization can thus be tailored specifically to the respective use case.
New Feature: Flexibly Assign Rights to Display Variants
Display variants can (and must) now be assigned permissions. This allows you to precisely control, during the visual representation of buildings, which information a user is allowed to see and which they are not. For example, the display of room occupancy by employees can be hidden for an external service provider. With this release, the "eye" icon in the BIM Explorer now only displays view variants that have been assigned to one of your permission groups. The view variant configured as the default in the drawing link is always loaded, regardless of permissions. Please contact your eTASK project manager if you have any questions about setting up permissions for view variants.
New Feature: eTASK Add-in for Revit 2019 Available
The eTASK add-in for Autodesk Revit is now also available for use with Revit 2019. The add-in is available for download in the "Downloads" section of the eTASK Customer Center.
eTASK.Payment Transactions
Improvement: Accounting for reductions in incoming invoices during the payment run
Invoices that are already in the payment run but have not yet been paid are automatically removed from the payment run after a reduction is created, modified, or deleted. The affected invoices are then automatically re-added to the payment run with the updated value.
eTASK.Dunning
Improvement: Info email when the payment deadline for the 2nd reminder has passed
If the payment deadline for a second reminder has passed, the person responsible for the invoiced amount or the underlying lease agreement is now notified once via email.
Improvement: The Reminder report must be created with the correct contact person for the outgoing invoice
For reminders generated automatically in eTASK, the specified contact person is automatically determined from the invoice subject to the reminder or the underlying contract, or from the company if no invoice or contract contact person is available. If necessary, a different responsible person can be specified in the reminder.
eTASK.Outlook Room Booking
New Feature: Enable Auto-Login with Simultaneous Exchange Connection
Autologin can now also be used when the portal is connected to Exchange. If autologin is enabled under these conditions, the user is only prompted to enter their password when booking rooms using quick booking or the booking wizard.
eTASK.FM Procurement
Improvement: New "Difference Amount" column in the "Order Status" view
A new "Difference Amount" column has been added to the "Order Status" view, which displays the difference between the "Net Order Value [€]" and the sum of the "Service Confirmation Amount [€]".
Improvement: Calculation of service items accurate to the cent
When calculating service items, rounding is now performed to the third decimal place so that even when calculating percentage surcharges or deductions on the service item, the second decimal place is calculated to the nearest cent.
eTASK.Area Billing
Improvement: Better display of incorrect totals in the "Room Occupancy Areas DIN 277 by Department" report
In the "Room Occupancy Areas DIN 277 by Department" report, totals that require manual data maintenance are now highlighted in red for better clarity. The totals may be incorrect under certain conditions, such as when areas from imported BIM models are not DIN areas, or when the usage type is missing.
eTASK.Leasing
Improvement: Using Rooms from BIM Models in Time Periods
Rooms are now imported from BIM models in such a way that they contain the relevant information for leasing and can be added directly to time periods.
eTASK.ServiceTicket
New feature: Create service tickets for building components directly from the BIM Explorer
If a component (e.g., a door or a fire extinguisher) is selected in the BIM Explorer that has been registered as an object in eTASK, a service ticket can be created for this component directly from the BIM Explorer. In this process, the component itself as well as the room to which this component is assigned are pre-filled in the service ticket.
eTASK.Maintenance
Improvement: Notification of follow-up work in operator responsibility control emails
Operator responsibility follow-up emails now include a note indicating when follow-up work is necessary for order confirmations submitted using the confirmation cover sheet.
eTASK.Room Reservation
Bug fix: Preselection of "Orders from Catering Room Service" in the "Booking Overview"
In the "Booking Overview," "Orders from Catering Room Service" are now preselected again.
Improvement: Room notes in notification emails
The "Comment" for the meeting room (under "Booking Restrictions") can now also be included in room reservation notification emails.
eTASK.FM Portal
New feature: Sharing lists now includes custom filters
When sharing list data with other users via the "Share" feature, the filters set by the user are now also applied to the list. The recipient thus sees the list data shared with them exactly as the sender prepared it for viewing.
Improvement: Preselected content is retained after an unsuccessful save attempt
If a data record cannot be saved successfully—for example, because required fields are not filled in—the data records selected in the selection fields were previously reset. The forms in eTASK have now been optimized so that the selected content is retained even if the save attempt fails, and the user does not have to select it again.
eTASK.Inventory
Improvement: Easier creation of the default matchcode for an object type
When you click the "Create Standard Matchcode" function for an object type, the "Standard Matchcode for Object Type" field in the corresponding matchcode is now automatically activated.
eTASK.Visitor Guidance System
Improvement: Location filter for person search in the visitor guidance system
The person search in the visitor guidance system has been expanded to include a filter, so that searches now only look for people at the location of the guidance system and no longer search the entire staff list of the connected eTASK portal.
