The outdoor area type in the context of the security zones, like the room type, is used to assign the various security zones or partial zones to the outdoor area. For each type of outdoor area, the security zone to which it should belong is defined. This assignment makes it easier for administrators to select the correct outdoor area type on the basis of comprehensible outdoor area types than would be possible with security zones.
Identification
In this info area you will find information that can be used to identify the data record. This is usually the code and the name, together with other important information.

Safety zone
This feature group describes security-relevant features and equipment of outdoor areas. It includes information on security zones, access restrictions and special protective measures for certain outdoor areas.

| Subzone | Optionally select the subzone for which this type is to be used. |
Color coding
This group includes features for the color coding of outdoor areas. The color coding is used to visually distinguish and quickly identify different safety zones in the outdoor area.

| Foreground color | Select the color to be used for the hatching in a hatching pattern here. |
| Hatching | Select the hatching pattern with which the data content is to be marked in the BIM visualization. Please note that although all hatching patterns can be displayed in the visualization, only the hatching patterns "1 - none", "2 - 0%" and "12 - 100%" are taken into account when exporting to a PDF. |
| Background color | Select the color to be used as the background for a hatching pattern here. |
