Object check CAFM Connect import (documents)

When importing data via the CAFM interface, you can check the imported objects for missing documents. This check is performed against the corresponding BIM profiles in the portal. This allows you to identify which objects are missing documents required by the BIM profile.

  • The data for the document type (trade, trade group, and register/document type) has been maintained.

Path to the starting point: Control Panel - Portfolio (BIM) - BIM Information Management - Profiles

  1. Select the desired profile by clicking the Edit icon.

  2. In the Required Fields, Attributes, Documents section, fill in the Trade, Trade Group, and Register/Document Type fields.

Note: Make sure to select only the relevant entries in the tree view. By default, all of them are selected.

  1. Click Apply Document Type to Selected Table/Object Type.

The document type appears in the tree view as a required document.

  1. Click Save in the toolbar.

  2. To perform the comparison, click Tools/Update Validation.

After validation, the current status of the profile is displayed in a traffic light view.
