Some forms, such as the form for creating a service ticket, allow users to add comments to records. Users can leave these comments on the record, but they can also have them sent to colleagues via email at the same time.
The selection of the sender’s email address is controlled via the system configuration. However, this requires that the Street, ZIP Code, City, and Phone fields in the company record within the Companies & Addresses table be maintained.
Note: The selected company is determined by the PORTALCOMPANYID defined during portal setup
Note: The email address used is controlled by the entry in the MAILFROMADDRESS configuration parameter. However, this is also used in other places within the portal, so it should not be changed if possible.
