The "Revisions" data object manages the various versions and change statuses of BIM models as part of Building Information Modeling. It documents important metadata such as the software used, model phase and individual properties for each revision of a building model. This object supports processes such as version control, approvals and the tracking of changes to the digital building twin throughout the entire life cycle of a construction project.

Basic identification features and control options for model revision. Here you define the storage, visibility in the BIM Explorer and availability for drawing links.| Property | Description |
| Store permanently? | Activate this option to archive this revision permanently. Revisions without this marking are automatically deleted after the retention period stored on the model has expired as soon as a newer revision is available. Permanently stored revisions are retained regardless of the retention period. |
| Release for drawing links | Activate this option to make the revision accessible via drawing links. Users can then use the magnifying glass icon to jump directly from rooms, floors or objects to the corresponding model element in the BIM Explorer and open the 3D view. |
| BimserverRoid | Roid from BIMServer to link the revision data record with the revision on the BIMServer. |
| revision number | Consecutive number of the revision for this model. |
| Model | Specification of the model to which this revision belongs |
| date | The date on which the revision was uploaded. |
| Processor | Indication of who uploaded this revision. |
| Text | Description text that the editor entered when uploading the revision. Ideally, the text contains information about the changes that were made. |
| Display in BIMexplorer? | Activate this option to make the revision available in the BIM Explorer for visualization and navigation. Only published revisions can be opened by users in the 3D viewer. |

This group of characteristics records information on the processing of the BIM model with specific software. It provides information about the programs used and their versions when creating or revising the model.| Property | Description |
